Well after writing my introduction to this blog, I had the idea to drive down the road to my local honey hole if you want to call it that. I managed to catch some quality fish the last couple weeks and it's starting to seem as the bite I was on is slowing down. This is unfortunate, but I know there still is quality bluegills in there although they are eluding me.
Lately I have been testing out my very amateur fly fishing skills at this lake targeting bluegills and bass on the smaller side, but it is more of a pond than anything with how small it really is. hopefully, because that would require me to actually catch a fish. So I showed up to lake X aka the hidden suburban gem down the road from my house. To my belief there were 3 cars at the access and to be honest kinda rattled me for a second, because I was being so low key about it. So I got my shit together and walked down the the waters edge since I was just gonna wade it ankle deep and cast a bobber and worm for anything that bites. Luckily the people there I actually knew and just like me they know the importance of keeping it low key to preserve what we have at our finger tips. So we ended up talking for the whole time I was there and while I was talking I would cast out the bobber and worm. We got to talking about boats, fishing (duh), the hidden gem, and fishing trips. It really makes you realize that catching fish isn't the most important thing while out fishing. It is the bonding you have with your friends and family and the memories you make. Actually though during the middle of our conversation my bobber went down! So I did my thing, set the hook, and caught a nice little bass on the new rod and reel. Im defintly glad I went with the medium, otherwise that dink of a bass would have kicked my ass on the medium

Black Fish is a documentary released by Gabriela Cowperthwaite on July 19, 2013. The main purpose of this documentary was to expose the cruelty animals experience by being locked up in Sea World. Mainly, this film focuses on Orcas; this is because most people attend sea world to watch these wild animal perform shows. Specifically, the footage lights up Tilikum, a wild orca who was related to the death of three trainers, which by the way were blamed for their own murder. Tilikum was cruelty trained in order to obey and perform the huge shows Sea World makes by using these animals. There are many ways that humans also contribute to keeping the salmon population high. We raise them ourselves and also help out the ones in the wild.
