Imagine you are sprinting through the woods getting shot at by red coats, you are only seventeen and you have been kidnapped. You are running with a so called murderer. Not a very good picture huh? The movie kidnapped is way better than the book there for there is more action in the movie and it made more sense. The movie made more sense because they showed what coat everyone was wearing and so that wasn't confusing who was who because I knew that they switched coats. There is also more action because they include more battle parts to it. in the movie Davies dad doesn't get killed by Ebeneezer he got crushed by a falling tree in a middle of a storm, the movie actually shows detail about the death but the book only tells what happened with no action detail. …show more content…

Also in the book there was a lot of talking and boring parts but in the movie they went strait into the action. In the movie you could see more detail, for example when Davie was in the woods with the creepy poor people you could see that the girl was hiding a big weapon in her robe so she could steal his money. This makes the movie more interesting and makes me want to find out what she is going to do with the weapon. There are many differences and similarities from the movie and book. For example, there was one part that didn't happen in the book this that when Davie was heading to the house of shaws there was two men pretending that one of the men was sick and needed sliver coins for medicine, you could see that the man was lying because he had a little bit of coins him self.
