As an employee of one of the largest private universities in the world, it’s extremely important for us to be professional at all times. The University of Phoenix (UOPX) is one of the largest private universities in the world with over 400,000 students currently attending. UOPX strives for excellences in maintaining our commitment to educating our community.
UOPX is a unique organization because; we provide opportunities to individuals that are experts in organizational policies, conflict management, and how communication flows. It was in this historical context in 1976, that Dr. John Sperling, a Cambridge-educated economist and professor-turned-entrepreneur, founded University of Phoenix. Sperling anticipated the confluence of technological, economic, and demographic forces that would in a very short time herald the return of ever-larger numbers of working adults to formal higher education (Apollo Group, 2004).
Moreover, UOPX communicates via teleconferencing, video conferencing, learning center meetings and emails to keep all employees up to date on any organizational policies. Anytime a new policy is put in place all of the Apollo Group employees are made aware of it. As well as the tools are put in place in order for the change to take place. For instance, Apollo Group downsized the academic and finance department to one central location in Kansas City. The Apollo Group believes that servicing our students better from one location, having the same guidelines and procedures for all students. The information was communicated with training on how to use the ID badges from our technology department, a week prior to the distribution of ID’s. Once all of the employees and faculty members are trained they must have their ID’s to enter the building.
In conclusion, UOPX will strive to be leader in organizational policies, conflict management, and how communication flows. As one of the largest private universities in the world we must lead in all aspect of educating our community. In order for our organization to run smoothly we must have organizational policies in place, we must be able to handle conflict management well, and be able to communicate effectively with all departments.

To begin with, there are valid points made. For starters universities need to stop considering themselves as businesses and stop putting business first, and
...sented themselves such as: lack of financial support, low graduation rates, and a non-existence of diversification. However, these issues can be changed by an increase in support from different places which would add to the existing importance of HBCU’S. People are inspired by the Institutions because they work hard to overcome obstacles placed in their way. Students, Alumni’s, and Parents see the motivation and determination of the schools to stay ongoing and I see it as well.
UMHB’s vision statement is, “UMHB will be the university of choice for Christian higher education in the Southwest” (UMHB, 2016). In this essay I will do a SWOT analysis of UMHB to see if the university is working towards its vision. I will identify UMHB’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
“Educational practice is necessarily based on the assumption that students are willing to engage in educational activities that they will lend their cooperation and support to the process in their education. Students who do not offer such cooperation, who are unmotivated, present significant challenges” (Williams and Ivey, 2001, 75). High school school-children show the most trouble with cooperation and motivation; they only have a few more years of schooling and for some pupils that is the end of their education. That was one of the main reasons why I wanted to observe a high school classroom; the other main reason is because I have actually considered teaching high school grades. I observed Ms. Edith Stone and her Algebra II mathematics classroom.
On one visit throughout my community and common environment I was able to observe three separate groups. Within this paper I will describe each group individually provide detailed information regarding body language of the group individually.

One example of organized anarchy can be found in university systems. Their framework has most of the elements found in a garbage can model organization. Institutional goals are vague, conflicting and rarely understood. Organizational processes are familiar, but not understood. The major participants in the organization, the faculty and students, wander in and out of the process, participating in organizational activities and decision-making opportunities only until they find something better to do with their time. (Giesecke, 1991) Individual schools within an organization have their separate goals and strategic plans independent of the university-wide goals.
I decided to observe five different groups for this paper. I chose rednecks, burnouts, two different groups of athletes, and musicians. These observations were mostly made at school in the hallways, classrooms, lunch, or in the parking lot. All of the groups were easily observable, they just had to be done at different times throughout the day. The rednecks for example were more easily observable in the school parking lot, whereas the athletes were more observable in the hallways.
One of the organizations that I volunteered at for the majority amount of time was the Hands of Hope Childcare Center. This organization is nonprofit and Christian based. Majority of the items that have are used at this childcare center has been donated from its local community. The childcare center is available to the Oakland County community. They service children who have been subjected to poverty and abuse. This organization also provide help to their parents by providing shelter.
SES conducted a clinical coordination with CM RC Kaitlyn Clifford, in support of CM vocational programs for Iman Serkin. RC stated to SES that Iman is presently working towards her independence by searching for an affordable car to purchase while working towards independent living. RC stated that she will continue to work with Iman regarding the importance of being consistent with scheduling and appointments as she has struggle in this area in the past. SES opined that bad or inconsistent attendance all have a bearing on whether on an individual’s ability to maintain their employment. One of the key aspects to a success educational process is the availability of proper facilities and infrastructure. This aspect might cause a reason for the commercialization in the education. Higher education, such as university becomes a trade for several parties that have control in both education and its institutions. They took the very high profit with the reason of providing a good quality education, which should be very expensive.
