What is the internet of things?
The internet of things is a computer concept that is describing a future were everyday’ physical objects or things will be connected to the Internet and the objects or things will have the ability to identify themselves to the other devices that is connected to the internet. The term of Internet of Things is very difficult to explain the simplest way is that it can closely be identified with Radio Frequency identification as an method of communication between devices, although there are also other communication technologies which includes sensor technology (an example of sensor technology is) , wireless technology ( an example of wireless technology is )and Quick responsive code (QR code) technology (Janssen 2013)
The advantages of Internet of things
The first advantage is that the Internet of things that it is allowing business organizations to interact with their stake holders in a whole new manner and it is also allows the business organization to create new business models to achieve success when everything is connected to the internet.
The second advantage of the Internet of things this will allow a Retail organization (for example Apple Computer, Inc.) to build a better relationship with their stakeholder and the stakeholder will the better the loyalty and delight of an stakeholder then the retail organization can create the brand that the stakeholder prefers to buy the most. The Retail organizations can also personalize the experience of shopping , and the targeting the stakeholders of the retail offerings that will be based on the information that was generated by the new huger information systems the Internet of things.

Health informatics is best described as the point where information science, medicine, and healthcare all meet. It encompasses the resources, devices, and methods required to optimize the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and the use of information in health and biomedicine. Health informatics incorporates tools such as: computers (hardware and softwar...
The Internet of things is a trend where everyday objects have network connectivity, allowing them to send and receive data. It depends on a great deal of data to function as devices are being setup to track and collect data. (Mohn, 2016) E.g. smartphones, online banking, home security systems etc. As these are important to us, we can’t over look how crime will play a vital role and affect lots of people due to its popularity and the fact that it will be a part of lives as we grow technologically.
...ncement can revolutionize the healthcare sector. Smartphones are more affordable, more accessible to the population than computers because these days everyone own a smartphone and are easier to carry. In the recent years the use of cell phones and wireless sensors to gather data and access health data has grown up tremendously. Lot of mobile applications are already available in the market that count your daily calories intake, keeps track of your nutrition’s and workout plans.
Pervasive computing is here. It is being integrated into our society in as many ways that can be thought up. Chips are popping up in everyday objects. Cars, planes, ships, phones, PDA’s, refrigerators, and soon a person’s hat, shoes, and clothing. This is all well and good, the advancement of technology is something that has always and will always be a constant in our culture. The need for more interconnectivity is becoming more apparent in business, schools, and personal lives. IBM is working on a project, called Autonomic Computing, which will create a universal standard for technology and the integration of electronic devices. One of their claims for the necessity of the project is a quote, “Civilization advances by extending the number of important operations which we can perform without thinking about them." - Alfred North Whitehead. They say that we make cultural advances by taking the processes and procedures we have now and automating them, thus giving the freedom to explore new and unique ways to complete the left over processes and procedures. The advancement of the culture is a necessity for any society, but the relinquishment of control of certain processes has to be regulated.
during the late 20th century, mankind hit an unprecedented surge of technological advancement and innovation. From the 1980s onward, our level of technology- especially communication-based technologies- increased exponentially year by year, giving us inventions (and their subsequent additions) such as the mobile cell phone, the Internet, email, instant message and social media platforms. In fact, the advent of the Internet and social media has created a smaller, wired world wherein an individual can communicate with someone from across the world in the blink of an eye.

...rces of Big Data . This huge amount of data possible for researchers to know the consumer behavior of customers , thereby refining the Internet of Things devices more suitable , we began serving daily lives of us more effectively . It can also be used for the production , thereby reducing human involvement . In the words of Daniel Kaufman predicted it " will do little more human " by Big Data .
Thus, customers can get and receive information from each other instead of communicating to the corporations or the companies and as result they can easily spread information about company products as well as information about new arrivals
Healthcare is changing daily and with technology these changes are occurring faster. Health informatics is one of these changes. It combines healthcare, information technology and business. This technology makes it easier for healthcare personnel to access client information and for clients to manage their healthcare.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects accessed through the Internet. The Network of interconnected objects harvests information from the environment (sensing) and interacts with the physical world (actuation/command/control), uses existing Internet standards to provide services for information transfer, analytics, applications and communications (Jiong et al. 2012).
Since the Internet was created it has always had an effect on education. After military establishments Universities were the first real contributors to the Internet's structure. The Internet has vastly improved education. There are so many ways that education and the Internet are connected these days. Almost every textbook has a corresponding Internet sight including the one for this course. [http://www.scsite.com/dc2002/
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is reshaping the health care system in the United States at an accelerating rate. In earlier times US Healthcare system was more focused on intervention of diseases, but now it is moving more towards preventive approach and I see Health IT as the most important tool that can lead this change. I strongly believe that my professional goals, range and depth of my experience and knowledge is an asset and my enthusiasm for the field makes me an ideal candidate for the Master of Professional Studies in Technology Management (Health Information Technology) program at Georgetown University.

Thau was inspired by the Bashar Nejdawi, president of Ingram Micro Mobility that is a provider of technology and supply chain services. According to Nejdawi, “In five years, consumer electronics stores as we know them today won’t even exist, and the same rings true for our favorite apparel brands”. He also asserts that three influential factors will change the retail landscape: instant gratification, borrowing and customization. A good example of instant gratification is Uber or Amazon. The Uber customer can see in real time where the Uber car is and when is going to arrive. In the same way the Amazon provide fulfillment program that allow retailers to sell products that are not physically in storage. In this way the retailers do not have to care about inventory and can concentrate on marketing. Secondly, the borrowing culture is going to grow. As an example is Zip Car or Netflix applications. On the Zip Car program someone can borrow a car just for few hours. Likewise, some business offer a mobile device rental program that allow a customer to lease the latest device for a fraction of the cost. Further, the customization program permits customers to choose their preferences before the product is being made. As an example is miAdidas company that gives to the clients the possibility to create
