Throughout the course of his life, Walter Elias Disney, more commonly known as Walt Disney, used his talents to become one of the most famous and influential people in the world. His unstoppable ambition and persistence drove Walt Disney to pour in every ounce of creativity into his work. His originality and inventiveness was exhibited by his numerous contributions to society as a whole. With his limitless imagination, Walt created quality entertainment that will be known by generations to come. Walt Disney transformed the film industry and revolutionized entertainment for the better by his numerous contributions.
Walt Disney was a well-known figure in society due to his originality and exceptional motion pictures. Walt’s brother and partner, Roy, described him as “truly a genius—creative, with great determination, singleness of purpose, and drive; and through his entire life he was never pushed off his course” (Walt Disney, UXL Biographies). Walt Disney’s will to succeed motivated him to make his original ideas come to life through his art. His diligence facilitated his countless hits on the big screen. One of the most renowned films ever created by Disney would be “Snow White… an astounding success… it would become the highest-grossing American film to that point” (Gabler, 276-277). Through the creation of the unique personalities of the seven dwarves and the innocence of Snow White, Walt Disney established a good reputation for himself in the film industry. Since each Disney film was unique and true to its own story, audiences were kept at the edge of their seats, and awaited Walt’s next creation.
