Creative Story: The Chronic Swamp Murders
One day while Joe and Jill Hemp were walking through Chronic swamp they came across a trail of blood in the water. They followed the trail until it stopped at a dead body. The body was of a man who was wearing a camouflage outfit. They immediately ran back to their house, which was not far from the murder site and called the police. Their house was located right on the edge of the swamp.
When the police got there they roped off the whole area so they could start their investigation. At first it looked as if it was definitely a murder, but after a few days of investigation the police concluded that the man was probably a hunter who had either fallen out of a tree or just tripped and broken his neck. A broken neck was definitely what killed the man. The only problem with this hypothesis was that it left a few unanswered questions. If the man was a hunter where did his gun or bow go? How often did you find a dead hunter just lying in the middle of a swamp? Even with these questions police told the
Hemps that it was an accident and they were in no danger.
The Hemp's life went on with no interruptions until about two weeks after the hunter was found. Another body had been found in the swamp. This time the body was a male whom had a business suit on. The police came back and investigated this death. After about a week they concluded again that it was a broken neck that had killed the victim. There were no signs of a struggle so the investigators said that it was some type of freak accident. They also told the Hemps to stay out of the swamp.
The Hemps never went back into the swamp again, but one night they were awakened by a loud pounding noise on the front door. When Mr. Hemp got up to see what it was, all he saw was something large running into the swamp. He then made sure that all the doors were locked and he got his shotgun out of the closet. He waited in his dark living room for about an hour and then went back to his bed. He didn't tell his wife what had happened so she wouldn't be scared
The next day when Joe was coming home from work he noticed the door was wide open. When he got closer he noticed that the door frame was broken and the

It was a 92 degree fahrenheit morning at 9:45 on August 14th, when Doug Greene placed a call to 911. He informed the police that he was concerned because Anna had been seen wearing a sweater the previous day despite the unusual heat and wasn’t answering her calls or her door. Both the police and the EMT arrived at the crime scene at 9:56 am where they found Anna Garcia lying on the floor. They entered the crime scene and declared Anna dead. The crime scene was then secured at 10:20 am for investigation. The crime scene was confined to a 10’ by 20’ entry hallway. At the crime scene, investigators marked areas where vomit, blood stains, blood spatter, footprints, a strand of hair, scattered pills, a syringe, and dirty cup were lying on the floor. They also discovered fingerprints that could be taken to a lab for analyzation. Anna was found lying face-down against the floor surrounded by blood and vomit near her mouth. The date was March 31st, at 6:10 p.m. I obtain a phone call from Captain Muldoon of the local police department. An accident was reported by Mr. Miller about his wife, Mrs. Miller. The accident took place on 554 Theresa Drive. The incident occurred at 6:02 p.m. Mrs. Cleaver, the neighbor made minor remarks about Mrs. Miller’s background as there was no witness to the accident that led to Mrs. Miller’s death. According to Stephen Thompson, “Livor Mortis is when the body was moved.” (98) Which in this case Mrs. Miller’s body was moved from its original state, causing livor mortis. I, the world’s greatest detective, believe that Mr. Miller should be arrested for suspicion of second degree murder for numerous reasons.

Since the beginning of time, people have been adopting. Whether or not the adoption process is for everybody is a debatable topic. Adoption occurs all over the world and is the cause for an impact on not only the children being adopted, but also an impact on those who adopt. Whether it’s nationally on internationally adoption is everywhere and will continue to grow in popularity as the years go on.
States with the highest number of adoptions are states with greater populations, with California, New York, and Texas generally leading the nation. In 2000 about 9,054 adoptions took place in the state of California alone. (Child Welfare Information par. 1) In 2001, New York had the highest number of adoptions with 10,209 cases. In 69% of public and private agency adoptions, the birth parents had met the adoptive couple. (Berry, 1991)
Birds and smaller animals were frequently hunted with balls of clay or lead. People usually did not use arrows because the arrow would most likely pass through their bodies and they could have easily escaped the hunter. Long bows have stayed plain through its life. Crossbows became more common in the fifteenth century. ("Crossbows")

...ssic hunter with his rifle tracking an animal, but there are other hunters who use a rifle and sit in a tree stand, a chair that is attached to a tree high off the ground, or a hunting blind, a hut that precludes a hunter from being seen or smelled by nearby animals. Other forms of hunting include the use of bows and arrows. There are three types of hunting bows: the compound bow is the most common bow used today in hunting because it reduces the force to draw the string back; the second most popular bow is the crossbow, used by Daryl in the popular television show The Walking Dead, which is similar to a gun because of its body and use of a trigger but it has identical traits of other bows; the least popular bow used in hunting is the standard long bow which is the traditional bow used in some native groups of hunters because of its use in many past generations.
When a couple or individual decides to adopt a child, they know they are going to take on the responsibility of taking care of someone else’s child. Due to the biological parent(s) who can’t take care of that child anymore, because of either drug abuse, alcohol abuse, abuse to the child or if the parent(s) had died and there is no other care for the child. So that’s why this gives other couples who cannot have kids, the opportunity to promise themselves to be a great parent to a child in need. Though there are some bad things about adoption as well. Like adopting a child from another country of another race, because once that child is adopted into an American family, he or she will be cut off from their culture and never know about their history. Everyone should to know about their culture and history.
