Dear Friend,
The choice of whether or not to read this message all the way
through may have important consequences for you as the events
of our immediate future unfold. This is being done solely for
the benefit of others so that people may understand what to do
about the times now approaching humanity. What I'm about to
explain will strike many people as ridiculous, because this kind
of thing has been predicted over and over again and people are
not inclined to take things like this seriously. I am not your
average tabloid psychic. In fact, I'm not a psychic at all. I
am what could be called a modern day seer, but I prefer to be
thought of as just a human being with an important message.
I have studied prophecy and the techniques used to produce it
for many years now. Through a combination of my own findings,
the prophecies of Nostradamus, the prophecies given by Jesus
and the prophet Daniel, I have figured out the future of
humanity. As stated above in the disclaimer, the reader's
belief in what I say is not necessary at this point.
This message has been written over and over again since I
first set out to do this. In previous versions, I have tried to
describe what will cause the rough times to come... but everyone
is pretty much aware of the world's problems and they don't
really need to have it all pointed out to them. Besides, it
makes the message unnecessarily long.
Upon reading “Prompt and Utter Destruction: Truman and the Use of Atomic Bombs Against Japan” by J. Samuel Walker, a reader will have a clear understanding of both sides of the controversy surrounding Truman’s decision to drop atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. The controversy remains of whether or not atomic bombs should have been used during the war. After studying this text, it is clear that the first atomic bomb, which was dropped on the city of Hiroshima, was a necessary military tactic on ending the war. The second bomb, which was dropped on Nagasaki, however, was an unnecessary measure in ensuring a surrender from the Japanese, and was only used to seek revenge.
In the novel Poor People, written by William T. Vollmann asks random individuals if they believe they are poor and why some people are poor and others rich. With the help of native guides and translators, and in some cases their family members, they describe what they feel. He depicts people residing in poverty with individual interviews from all over earth. Vollmann’s story narrates their own individual lives, the situations that surround them, and their personal responses to his questions. The responses to his questions range from religious beliefs that the individual who is poor is paying for their past sins from a previous life and to the rational answer that they cannot work. The way these individuals live their life while being in poverty

All of the above sounds good to me; however I have written a term paper
According to the given information I have read the information provided in Appendix 1 for this assignment.
An interesting aspect in this debate is that the system or the society we live in is not at all simple in terms of its dynamics and history; it has been through numerous events which has ultimately carved the system to the level of sophistication it is at the moment. Criticism or acknowledgement is not a purpose in this paper, rather a critical analysis of communist manifesto and its implications on the current society. If there would not have been a communist manifesto, I personally believe that there would not have been this level of sophistication in the capitalist system and the rights of proletariats (the working class) that they are currently
One factor prevalent in our nation’s hospitals which, although under-represented by the media, is significantly detrimental to the advancement of the United States healthcare system is Hospital/Healthcare Associated Infections, or HAIs. These infections were first identified as a serious threat to patient safety during the 1930s. In the 1940s, The British Medical Council appointed infection officers in various hospitals to attempt to regulate and control causes of infection, although such officers only became common in the 1950s during a severe outbreak of Staphyloccosus. After a brief investigation had been conducted, it was found that nearly 100% of patients and staff in various British hospitals had contracted elements of the virus through lack of hygienic precaution during open wound surgeries. Fortunately, the ready availability of penicillin prevented a severe outbreak, but the continued overuse of the drug resulted in drug resistant bacteria and virus and the discovery of the Staphyloccosus Aureus - a virulent skin pathogen immune to initial penicillin serums and recognized as the first antibiotic resistant bacterium - in the late 1960s. By the early 1970s, the drive to control hospital infections was well established in the United States, however, the movement was unorganized and there was no success in eliminating infections associated with medical practices at the time. It was not until 1976 that the control of infectious diseases in hospitals was transformed from a movement to a mandate when The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals demanded that accredited hospitals have infection control programs. Currently the majority of research of HAIs is conducted by the CDC through The Prevention Epicenter Program, w...
The book of Revelation is full of symbolism. It is a book that you must use your imagination to be able to interpret some of the things that St. John writes about. Many of the discussions allow the reader to interpret many controversial topics, some of which are mentioned by Barbara Rossing in her article. She discusses an ecological stance on the future of the earth. Rossing begins her article by looking at a river in Boston and compares it to the river that runs through New Jerusalem mentioned in Revelation 22:1-2 “Then the angel showed me the river of life-giving water, shining like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb through the middle of the city’s main street.” She wants us to imagine these rivers with a Christian vision. She mentions that if we maintain a Christian ecological vision when looking at a river we will feel and see ourselves as part of God’s holy city that Revelations discusses (Rossing 205). Rossing supports her claim throughout the article by introducing the two contrasting cities, Babylon and New Jerusalem. In her discussion of these cities she makes note of the importance of the sea in both cities. Violence against women and ecology are an interesting parallel that she makes and is one that a reader can interpret many ways. She uses New Jerusalem for the readers to vision what the “perfect” world would look like. Like the study Beth Utto-Galarneau held for her Bible study to imagine what the new Boston would look like (Rossing 219). Rossing focuses on the differences between the beginning to the end or in other words, eschatology.
“Failure to attend to hand hygiene has serious consequences: it has a negative effect on patient safety and the quality of patients’ lives, as well as on their confidence in healthcare delivery. However, the prevalence of hand hygiene omission is still high” (Canadian Disease Control, 2016 p 1). Washing hands before and after patient contact seems like a simple solution to prevent the spread of bacteria between patients. But it is not as simple as it seems.According to new CDC data, “approximately one in 25 patients acquires a health care-associated infection during their hospital care, adding up to about 722,000 infections a year. Of these, 75,000 patients die from their infections ( CDC, 2016 p 1).” Leaving a finacial burden on Canada’s health care
Hospital acquired infections are one of the most common complications of care in the hospital setting. Hospital acquired infections are infections that patients acquired during the stay in the hospital. These infections can cause an increase number of days the patients stay in the hospital. Hospital acquired infections makes the patients worse or even causes death. “In the USA alone, hospital acquired infections cause about 1.7 million infections and 99,000 deaths per year”(secondary).
Where are we going? This is a fundamental question, one of several asked by the founders and thinkers of the world's largest religions. Each of the major religions has its own answer, and the study of these answers is called eschatology. In this essay, I'll take a secular look at the eschatological evolution of the Abrahamic religions, from Judaism to Christianity and finally to Islam. I will discuss the impact of these apocalyptic scenarios on people who do not practice each faith, and show that ultimately, answers to life's questions come from within.

During the days of the Great Tribulation there will be a Trinity of Evil; something that tries to replace and at the same time oppose the Trinity of God. Composing this trio of evil will be the red dragon, who is really Satan, a false prophet, and the Antichrist. These three will work together to compound evil and create a religious system that strives to promote the worship of the beast and the dragon. At first it will seem like the Antichrist is able to solve all problems and the world is entering a unprecedented era of peace and tranquility under his leadership; however, once he lets his true nature show, there is no room for love.
The identified research questions that are necessary to answer in this paper are listed below,
Poverty, also known as the silent killer, exists in every corner of the world. In fact, almost half of the world’s population lives in poverty. According to the United States Census Bureau, there were 46.7 million people living in poverty the year of 2014 (1). Unfortunately, thousands of people die each year due to this world-wide problem. Some people view poverty as individuals or families not being able to afford an occupational meal or having to skip a meal to save money. However, this is not the true definition of poverty. According to the author of The Position of Poverty, John Kenneth Galbraith, “people are poverty-stricken when their income, even if adequate for survival, falls radically behind that of the community”, which means people
