The Company is called Vesco and has 13 stores round the UK. The
manager from one of their London stores has asked me to do the
following for his supermarket only.
The Problem
A company called food on the go are their home delivery company. The
manager of Vesco has asked me to make invoices for the “food on the
go” company and their customers. The manager of Vesco called Dean
Smith said that their old way of billing people was very slow. What
they did was they would send an employee around the supermarket to get
each item that has been ordered and would have to add up the prices at
the end. He wants me to make it so that when his employees are doing
this all they have to do is type in the serial numbers of the items
and the computer will add up the prices and add VAT on its own. Also
he would like the individual items and the subtotal to come up on the
computer.
So when the delivery company is delivering the foods to the houses,
people will easily and quickly be able to pay because they will easily
see what they ordered. Some people may pay by cash or some may have
previously paid by credit card on their internet website. People order
their food by filling out and order form saying what items they would
like or they would fill out a form on the internet. An additional 10%
charge will be added to their bill for this service.
Possible Solutions to the Problem
Manual Solution
As they get their orders in they could write what is ordered onto a
piece of paper and put them up on a notice board, and at the end of
the week one person could go round the shop and get all the items from
every list.
ICT Solution
They could enter the items in a spreadsheet, this would be good
because a spreadsheet could add up the subtotal and add the VAT. After
adding the VAT it can automatically add up the final total.
My Solution Is…..
I will use the spreadsheet solution as the data incorporated in the
spreadsheet can be put into a formula and therefore can be manipulatededhat
time - consuming. ta i - consuming have fast access times. I suggest
that they use a CD-RW. by the computer, it can also be presented in a
good professional fashion.
I will use an ICT solution because of the following reasons:
The Advantages of Using the ICT Solution are:
· It is easier to edit the data and add up the data eg.

It is not uncommon to hear people complaining about what they hear on the news. Everyone knows it and the media themselves knows it as well. Some of the most renowned journalists have even covered the the media’s issues in detail. Biased news outlets have flooded everyday news. We find that journalism’s greatest problems lie in the media’s inability for unbiased reporting, the tendency to use the ignorance of their audience to create a story, and their struggles to maintain relevance.
In “Reporting the News” by George C. Edwards III, Martin P. Wattenberg, and Robert L. Lineberry, the main idea is how the media determines what to air, where to get said stories that will air, how the media presents the news, and the medias effect on the general public. “Reporting The News” is a very strong and detailed article. The authors’ purpose is to inform the readers of what goes on in the news media. This can be inferred by the authors’ tone. The authors’ overall tone is critical of the topics that are covered. The tone can be determined by the authors’ strong use of transitions, specific examples, and phrases or words that indicate analysis. To summarize, first, the authors’ indicate that the media chooses its stories that will air
The education in this field determines how much the specific Trainer will be paid. Employers require a “Minimum of bachelor’s degree in health related field, with a current National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certification”("Athletic Trainer, Healthcare Program."). Getting a masters degree will increase your chances of getting a job. An advanced degree will also help you get paid more than an applicant

To satisfy my curiosity and gain a broad understanding of athletic training, I chose to interview my boss, Pete Stevens. Pete is employed by Physiotherapy Associates, a nationwide corporation that specializes in physical/occupational therapy, athletic training, and fitness/sports training. He has worked there for three years. He is currently the Head Athletic Trainer for The Arizona Rattlers. Pete received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Boise State University in Idaho, followed by a graduate degree in Recreation from Arizona State University. He is currently considering additional education to become a Physician’s Assistant.
To build a house, we need a strong base. With a strong base, we would be able to have a better foundation for the house, so it depended on us to choose what kind of base we want to use to build our house. Just like a house, an identity for an individual, is about making a decision, and that decision will shape their identity. A couple years ago, it never crossed in my mind, that one day I would live someplace away from home, family, and friends. I thought I had everything in life, and it made me never grateful with what I had. But then, I made a decision to move to United States, and since I moved to United States, I became a responsible and a grateful person.
Athletic training career is one of the careers in healthcare that requires hard work, dedication, and patience. It is competitive and because of that, it requires extensive schooling. Most jobs in athletic training field requires a bachelor degree from an accredited program but having a masters degree or a doctorate degree from an accredited program increases one’s chance of getting a better job or qualifying for an affluent position in one’s company. One has to pass the rigorous board exam as well in order to be a certified athletic trainer. Athletic trainer’s job setting varies. Illegals, aliens, wetbacks. These are all words that have been used by our society to describe the immigration status of undocumented individuals. However, when we hear these terms, most of us make the assumption that we are referring to one specific group of people. In our minds, we create the image of someone from Latino or Hispanic descent, crossing the Mexican border through the Rio Grande River. Unfortunately, in the United States, this is the stereotypical profile of an undocumented immigrant. Even though pro-immigration organizations such as United We Dream work hard to try to fight this common portrayal, in many of its own campaigns and stories that they put out, they continue to feed into this erroneous representation by failing to
The concept of identity is a very wide and subjective area. Identities can both be chosen and given, and are sources of disconnection and connection. Identities are not solely applied to people, but to places too. A places identity can both positively and negatively affect peoples identities. My essay will examine the argument that places can be a source of inclusion and exclusion for specific communities, how identities are constructed and linked to other places and identities are marked and unmarked through othering and also how a persons identity can be impacted upon by place identity and how both imagined and idealised past of a place can impact on people feeling out of place, or even part of, and how a place’s identity can be linked to a racial or ethnic identity.
The number of children that display autistic traits keeps rising and the need for services is at an all-time high. Out of 10,000 children born, 60 to 100 children and families will be affected by autistic spectrum disorder (Gulberg, 2010). Autism is characterized by a lack of connection to other people, even parents, and an avoidance of interpersonal situations (Feldman, 2011). Children with autism also show limited, repetitive and stereotypical patterns of behavior, interest, and activities. Not one child with autism is the same as the next; each child has their own severity and indicators of autism. A child with intellectual disabilities and a gifted child can both be given the diagnosis of being on the autism spectrum, because of the wide range of severities. Many of these children will not attend special schools, but instead be included in the general education population by inclusion. Inclusion has been found to have a number of benefits for children with autism. In addition, negative perspectives have also come into play when discussing autism and inclusion. Furthermore, parents have the right to make decisions for their child on an individual basis.
One of the most difficult things teachers will face when dealing with Autistic children is their lack of communication skills and inappropriate or nonexistent social skills. In addition to academic instruction children with Autism require instruction in communication techniques and social skills. Kamps et.al. says “A key to accommodating students with autism in public school settings is the provision of social and behavioral programming to develop meaningful participation with nondisabled persons” (p.174).
