My Educational Philosophy
The responsibilities that educators have in the education field is to teach our students the basic training skills needed to be successful in the future. As an educator I will be involved in classroom instruction, grading papers, taking attendance, planning lesson plans around activities, readings and projects that will not only teach, but also engage. Without engagement, students are not likely to have a positive learning experience. I will make sure that every child is envolved and no child is left behind.
As an educator I will modify instructional methods by using a wide range of teaching styles for the academic achievement of all my students. I will seek the need to self-motive my students learning skills; explore their academic, cultural, and social needs, which makes these central to the classroom experience.
As an educator I will help students understand, investigate, learn, and determine how the knowledge process influences in discipline. I will use teaching methods and materials to reduce student prejudice, and work to create a school culture that empowers all students especially those from minority groups. I will engage all students in learning which is a goal of mine.
As an educator I am also a mentor, who is a trusted and experienced advisor that has direct interest in the development and education of another individual. I want to encourage and motivate my students as well as maintaining a constructive and caring manner towards their needs.
As an educator I will be very social, orderliness, and practical. I enjoy helping others and appreciating their needs and values as an individual. I am very orderly, which I keep things in their proper place, which makes the classroom environment more flexible.
Brazil nuts are harvested at plantations and in the wild. Plantations are being developed in various parts of the Amazon. Fazenda Aruana is the owner of a 12,000 hectare former cattle ranch, partially converted to a Brazil Nut plantation in 1980. By January of 1990, 318,660 Brazil nut trees were planted on 3341 hectares of land. Fazenda's original intent was to plant Brazil Nut trees in a 20 by 20 meter grids and allow cattle grazing between the trees. The trees in the Aruana plantation are the result of grafting high yield clones from the region of Abufari Amazonas were Brazil nuts are know for their large fruits and seeds. As a result of fertilization from the same clones, the fruit production among clones has been low(2). Another danger in using so few clones is the ability to resist attack of disease and insects.
He mournfully tells his audience he has “moved away from the periphery and toward the center of American life, [he] has become white inside” (Liu 1). As a young chinese boy growing up in America, he was taught the way to assimilation was to abandon the language, culture, and traditions of his ancestors, and his essay is a remorseful reflection on the consequences of his sacrifice. Despite giving away so much, despite doing it all to ‘become white’, he will always be an outsider – race and skin color can never be the uniting factor of a community. Eric Liu goes on to talk about how “the assimilist is a traitor to his kind, to his class, to his own family” (Liu 2). Why does it need to be this way? The ‘a-word’ (assimilist) need not be a negative one, if only assimilation meant adapting to an ideology rather than one race’s culture. If that were the true meaning of assimilation, the idea that to assimilate is to betray would be eradicated. The current method of naturalization to American culture is unacceptable: The only thing that will unite Americans will be a common goal to promote good values and hard work within
...ed to promote a negative atmosphere and symbolises negative feelings, whereas light is used repeatedly to provide a positive feeling of love, with white being used as a constant symbol of innocence and peace. The gender roles in both books are the opposite to what they should have been, with male characters taking a backseat in their relationships and allowing the female characters to be more dominant and headstrong. War is used as a catalyst to a lot of the events in both books, leading to the rape of Nicole and the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Though both texts are similar, some of these similarities show key differences between the writers. As inner conflict is used as a representation of context from both texts, and how the writer feels about conflict resolution, with Cormier being against Violence, while Shakespeare believed it could bring an end to a conflict.
The gene locus of this disease is Xp11.2-p22.1. There are many symptoms that could arise from having Turner Syndrome. The Turner Syndrome Society provides the following symptoms: short stature, a high-arched palate, retrognathia, ears protruding outward, a webbed neck (might include a lowered neckline), droopy eyes, strabismus, broad chest, cubitus valgus, scoliosis, flat feet, small and narrow fingernails, short fourth metacarpal and edema. This long list of symptoms can be intimidating, but they are definitely manageable. It is important that TS is diagnosed early in the child’s life. A diagnosis can be done before the child is even born with an amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling. The amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling can
So let us take a moment and briefly review a brief review of the tragedies of the Tohoku-Oki earthquake is the largest recorded earthquake at a 9.0 and caused a nearly 50-Foot Tsunami to strike the country already crippled by the mega quake. It has been three years now since the quake and Tsunami hit Japan. In the moments following Fukushima Daiichi’s reactors main power supplies went down, a safety measure assured that, back-up generators would take over and supply the much needed cooling of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. However, the World Nuclear Associates (WNA) recounts what occurred in the two hours that followed a combination of Mother Nature and human arrogance met in what was a series of unfortunate and disastrous events for the power plant and the villages surrounding it.
Turner Syndrome is a disease where only girls/women are affected. Basically this disease is when a sex chromosome is or is partially missing. This can result to short height, failure to start puberty and normal time, infertility, heart defects, learning disabilities, and social adjustment problems. Turner sydrome can be diagnosed before birth, during infancy, or early childhood. Often times it is diagnosed in later teen years to even early adult. All women that have the disease normally need ongoing medical care to stay healthy.
Gabriel José García Márquez nació en Aracataca, Colombia. Debido a la mala situación económica de sus padres, se crió en el cuidado de sus abuelos. The 15 metre tsunami inundated about 560 sq km and resulted in a human death toll of about 19,000 and much damage to coastal ports and towns, with over a million buildings destroyed or partly collapsed. !2 out of 13 back up generators were disabled whenever the tsunami reached the nuclear plant. There were no fatalities due to radiation at the spot but only deaths caused by the natural disasters. The company TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Company) would have sent in a hardened emergency response but it would have been in vain since radiation was already being spilled out and the condition around the area was not the best to repair the damages and contain the radiation from contaminating the water supplies and entering the tide of the tsunami and back to the ocean. Now, the area where the nuclear plant was located was suppose to be the best area to protect the plant from any disaster and preventing damage but 18 years before 2011 scientific knowledge figured out that a major disaster would be able to reach the plant, yet TEPCO discussed it a bit with the Japanese

Tissue culture allows for the growth of a plant without the use of seeds or pollination.
Mangos are propagated either vegetatively or by seed. Two types were identified based on the mode of propagation: mono-embryonic and poly-embryonic. Mono-embryonic types are vegetatively propagated to produce new cultivars containing all of the desired characteristics. On the other hand, poly-embryonic types can be propagated vegetatively or by seed and able to produce two or more plants as mainly used as rootstock (Wanitprapha, K., et. al., 1991; Chia, C. L. et. al., 1988).
In order to discuss the biology of gender identity and sexual orientation, it is necessary to first examine the differences between multiple definitions that are often mistakenly interchanged: sex, gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Sexual orientation is defined by LeVay (2011) as “the trait that predisposes us to experience sexual attraction to people of the same sex as ourselves, to persons of the other sex, or to both sexes” (p. 1). The typical categories of sexual orientation are homosexual, heterosexual and bisexual. Vrangalova and Savin-Williams (2012) found that most people identify as heterosexual, but there are also groups of people that identify as mostly heterosexual and mostly gay within the three traditional categories (p. 89). This is to say that there are not three concrete groups, but sexual orientation is a continuum and one can even fluctuate on it over time. LeVay (2011) also defines gender as “the ...

Micropropagation is one of the plant tissue culture techniques which is commonly used in producing banana tissue cultures. Micropropagation is defined as the production of whole plants from cell cultures derived from explants, according to Biotechnology: Tissue Culture (n.d.). It can be further divided into shoot culture, organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis. Shoot-tip culture is the most commonly used method for commercial micropropagation. It has the main advan...
