Wedding Speech for a Maid of Honor or Best Woman
My role of today is that of a Maid of Honor, and my name is Popen. Alison and I have known each other since tenth grade, eight years, which quite frankly, seems just like yesterday on one hand…and like a million years ago on the other! Have you ever really thought about what friendship truly means to you? Well, I have especially when it comes to Alison and I. My friendship with her has been special to me, because she was a great person to go through the trauma of our teenage years with! No matter how much we have been through, we have always been there for each other through thick and thin. We support each other and stick up for one another when the other needs us most. We have gotten a lot closer over the years. We have seen other through the good, the bad and the ugly.
I have loved watching this romance bloom. Nanen is a great guy! He’s funny, friendly, really easy to get along with and really talkative especially once you get him going.
Alison has just blossomed since Nanen came into her life. When Alison met Nanen it was obvious from the very beginning that he was the one. There was something different about him. She seemed to sparkle more than ever before. She’s become happier and has a better outlook on life in general.
I look so forward to the future for these two. I know that Alison and Nanen will last a lifetime with each other. They just seem to have that certain something about them, and I know that theirs will truly be – a match made in heaven.
Finally, Nick’s inability to involve himself emotional with anyone is also a problem. He is more of a bystander than a participant. He fears of being close to anyone, and mostly just gets along with everything. That is a problem. He needs to find someone to listen to, instead of him always being the listener. This emotional distance, which he has, is not a healthy thing for him and can cause him to end being a loner.

Throughout the poem, Gawain is tested and is found to be truthful until he is tested in the gift-giving game in which his flaw is revealed to the reader. The events in the poem make the character of Sir Gawain very believable and is part of the reason why Sir Gawain and the Green Knight is one of the greatest literary works of Middle English.

War has been a recurring part of America’s history for the past hundreds of years. From the 1700s to the present, America has gotten into numerous situations and turmoil, which eventually lead to the wars we currently study and know about today. Technological advancements in warfare were necessary and a great obligation during times of war. This was pursued with drastic improvement. From the transformation of the use of smoothbore muskets during the Civil War to the industrial revolution leading to weaponry innovations post civil war, the nature of warfare dramatically changed. These developments proved to be proficient in battle. In the midst of these hundreds of years, while many technological advances demonstrated to be efficient in battle, the machine gun was one of the most significant advancements in technology that changed the face of warfare through its transformation of operations and strategy.
In the poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight written by an anonymous author, we are given a description of Sir Gawain's appearance, as he is preparing to go on a quest to find the Green Knight and complete the yearlong beheading game (Norton, 215). His armor, clothing and horse all suggest that he is not a poor knight. His helmet is decorated with gems and embroidered with parrots and turtledoves; his shield has image of Virgin Mary on the inside and an "endless knot"(Norton, 215) or a pentangle on the outside. This figure is a star with five points that is drawn in an unbroken line, which also happens to be a symbol of Gawain's five virtues.
Although she didn’t admit it, she still had that child-like fantasy about their being a happy ending especially since she looked up to Vanessa and Mark as the perfect couple. One drawback to Amy’s character is that her persona isn’t real. When she first started dating Nick she was masquerading herself as the girl she thought he wanted to be with, the Cool Girl. Although she is able to sustain the act during the beginning of their relationship, when she starts to give up on the act their marriage starts to collapse upon

Esther 2:21,22 talks about what happened before the proclamation of the destruction of the Jews had been issued.
Throughout time, people have attempted to destroy the nation of Israel, the “apple of God’s eye.” It was because from the Jews, came the covenants, promises, the law, and the messiah—the savior of the world. God’s chosen people are the enemy of Satan, the prince of this world, and the conflict started back in Genesis 3:15.

They had been in a constant whirlwind ever since their engagement, positively, embracing their status as a couple, prestigious and respected in work life, and in home life, inseparable, youthful, and romantic. (Burns & Grove 2005:23) Qualitative Research is a primarily exploratory research used to obtain an understanding of underlying reasons, opinions, and motivations. Quantitative research method are more systematic because research problem is stated specifically, variables are specified, original set of research goals, arriving at more objective conclusions, testing hypothesis, determining the issues of causality are followed firmly, achieving high levels of reliability of gathered data, eliminating subjectivity of judgment and allowing for longitudinal measures of subsequent performance of research subjects. However, Qualitative research method is unsystematic because changing nature of the context, arriving to different conclusions, difficult to investigate causality, there will be obstacles while explaining the difference in the quality and quantity of information obtained from different respondents and arriving at different, non-consistent conclusions, researchers are required to have a high level of experience, and lacking consistency and
