Exploring Why and How Blackpool Power Has Changed Blackpool tower opened in 1894, since it opened there has been some remarkable changes. One of the most notable changes is the dawn of time ride, which used to be the menagerie. Another dramatic change is the roof gardens that got turned into children's play area. To keep up with the winter gardens they made the stage bigger. They moved it to the right hand side of the original stage, doing this it made them attracted more people, but it made the dance floor smaller this didn't affect the popularity of the tower because not many people wanted to dance. Because of a fire they painted the ceiling in the ballroom. They also put a bar in the ballroom after the fire. You can see the changes in the tower program. The roof gardens was changed, Because people started going abroad, and the sight of exotic flowers wasn't as interesting to them any more. The glass roof of the roof gardens has stayed the same though. You can see on the program that it had a glass roof back then. The pipes, which were used to water the plants, are also still there. The menagerie was changed into the journey through time ride. This was quite a sudden change. The main reason for this was because of the R.S.P.C.A. They didn't think it was fair to the animals to be kept in 6ft cages. There was other reasons such as the zoo opened and people didn't really want to go. There is a rose wall in the journey through time ride, which was there when it was the menagerie. The layout of level three has changed significantly as well. There used to be a long bar that stretched all the way from the ballroom to the menagerie, now it is just a corridor with a shop at the far end. The grand lounge used to sit on the other side of the bar in between the ballroom and the menagerie. It is now an arcade. What problems did you face using the evidence in order to answer

The Station was a single story wood frame building of approximately 4500 square feet.. It was originally built in 1946 as a club for local military personnel who were on leave. Over the years it served as a variety of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. In 1972, a fire damaged the building and reopened in 1974. In 1991 it was converted into its final incarnation as a bar and showroom. The building was arranged with the bar, kitchen, dart room along with offices and storage on the east end of the building. The showroom and sunroom area comprised the west. There were four exits. The front door was only accessible through a corridor partially occluded by a small ticket booth and another 36 inch wide doorway in the middle of the corridor. This becomes a critical chokepoint when the fire breaks out.
Lincoln Electric Company has a very distinguished culture, after my readings over the case study it is clear that the strong culture they have prominently reflects their success.
History has a strong presence in the current world and as much as the world has changed and evolved many things remain the same. Many traditions and customs reverberate through decades and are carried on by individuals who honor and uphold their predecessor’s beliefs and fundamental rules. One such company is Lincoln Electric Company, founded in the late eighteen hundred by John C Lincoln it has manufactured original designed electric motors. Since its establishment it has maintained a leading status in the employment sector with low employee turnover, the only exception being retirement. It has continuously been ranked the best company to work for and many competitive and non-competitive companies look toward Lincoln Electric to model the

People had a lot of money to spend after the war, new fashion trends were popping up in every corner of the United States, and the nightlife became the center for social life. When the outlawing of alcohol started, the nightlife died but only for a short time. Many jazz clubs known as speakeasies kept the nightlife going and soon enough everybody was trying to get into one. What made these clubs grow so much in popularity was that it was a social place where people were able to both buy alcohol and dance. Both men and women alike were in the same crowded room and there was socializing, flirting, and dancing between the two sexes. Clubs during the 1920’s had played a major role in taking down the wall that separated men and women.”For the first time, women went out to drink too and occupied the same dark small, dark spaces as

‘The Castle’ is a film about Darryl Kerrigan and his family, who have their house mandatorily acquired by an airline and government coalition to use his land to expand an airport, but try to fight it through the legal system. The film portrays power in many different forms, such as family power, the power of the state and government institutions over the individual, and the power of an experienced, prestigious lawyer compared to that of a small-time, unknown one.

This club is real big, in fact, the building is two stories. There are different DJ’s that play different types of music. Upstairs the DJ was playing rap and R&B music, and downstairs the DJ was playing rock and techno music. I stayed upstairs with the rap music. Also, downstairs there were love seats and little tables where people were gathered around. Personally, I didn’t sit on the couches because they looked dirty, but a lot of people were sitting on them. The bar had a little section downstairs as well. When people pay their money to get in the club, all 21 year olds got wristbands, so their able to drink inside. The people under 21 got a highlighter marked across their hand. At the entrance of the bar, there is a bouncer looking at peoples hands. The bouncer said, “Let me see your hand”, and if peoples hands glowed in the dark, he knew they were not old enough to drink.

On Friday, May 31, 2017, I observed a sports bar on my friends, Jacob’s, twenty-first birthday party. I decided to observe a bar for my observation because I like to go play pool and hang out with friends there in my free time on the weekends; however, this particular bar I have never went to before. I went to the sport’s bar located in Meriden, Kansas. It can be found on main street, a little bar in the middle of now where. This bar was incredibly small. It had two different rooms. The room located as soon as you walked in was the smaller one of the two and this room is where the bar was located with people sitting around it on barstools. The second room was bigger and more spacious; this is where tables and chairs were located. We could order
Physical setting; built in 1932 and was originally owned by Union Pacific Railroad and later occupied by Yellow Freight Distribution, whose sign still hangs next to the female restrooms. From the exterior of the building I, noticed the long wooden open deck area that leads into the event stage area, full of neon lights. Inside the famous ice house, a big wooden square bar full of various kinds of liquor and a blue sign that read independent ice company as I passed through the two glass doors and took several steps, I noticed the ordering area for the amazing food it serves and the square style indoor full of sports memorabilia next to the booth. The long narrow hall way that lead to the boy’s restroom was full of autographed pictures from groups that had
