All handguns must be banned because they are the cause (s) of many deaths amongst the people of the world today. Gun violence result in fifty percent of today’s tragedies. Handguns causes too many deaths, the government need to make gun less accessible, and the law/law enforcement need to really enforce the laws they make.
First, and foremost many handguns have claimed the lives of too many people. This is a very serious issue we must tackle globally not just in the United States. The same problem is killing our past, present, and future. Gun violence has claimed the lives of so many Americans that we are the leading country in crimes committed by guns. These guns are claiming the lives of people ranging from babies to adults to even the elderly. Handguns are just causing too many deaths.
Second, if handguns or guns in general weren’t that accessible and it wasn’t that easy to get a hold of one most of this senseless violence would not occur. I believe that if the proper laws go in effect we would have fewer criminals. In addition to those laws we need to be sure proper authorities enforce them.
The lawmakers of today make laws and they don’t think about the decisions they make from both perspectives. They may say it’s all right to own a handgun but they may have different intentions than the user has on how and why they need one. The owner may need one for their protection but the lawmaker may think it’s for hunting or something other than it causing violence. To ensure these guns are not being used for violence the law needs to make a set of rules and regulations on the conditions of guns. How to use them/abuse them need to be the number one law. It should state guns are not intended to be used for violence of no kind. The law need to enforce the laws they make to ensure proper safety it would eliminate half of the gun violence.
On a personal note I lost a cousin to gun violence. I really can’t say at first I blamed "the gun" but I blamed the person. When I thought about it I has to ask certain questions like… how did this guy get the gun any how?

Momework Must Be Banned. Essay - I stared at the row of C’s and D’s on my yellow report card for the third time, head shaking in disbelief. It couldn’t be. Not after a quarter of all-nighters bent over my desk. My teachers all said that my homework grades had added up before returning to the piles of unfinished grading on their own desks. My parents weren’t satisfied with my explanation, even when I pointed out that many of my friends suffered the same plight. Most kids and adults hate homework, whether they’re forced to do it, create it, or grade it....   [tags: argumentative essay] 744 words

Essay about Flag Desecration is a Heinous Act that Must be Banned - Flag Desecration is a Heinous Act that Must be Banned One who is deferential toward his country would agree with the proposed amendment: “The Constitution and the states have the power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States.” Our United States flag represents our free country and what we—being united—have accomplished over the years. Many gun enthusiasts believe that an individual’s right to own a handgun is protected by the United States Constitution’s Second Amendment and enforcing Gun Control is violating a persons Constitutional rights. While the anti-gun supporters believe the Second Amendment does not assure the individual right to own a handgun but guarantees only the right of individual states to have their own militias and that the government has the duty to protect its citizens and prevent crimes by enforcing stricter Gun Control laws....   [tags: argumentative, persuasive, gun control]

Finally, I truly believe that all handguns should be banned because people are misusing these weapons and killing off our youth and basically our people. The laws have to get tougher. I’m making this point especially for the inner cities across America. It’s sad when a fourteen year old boy can get access to a dangerous firearm it’s just senseless. I can’t say that banning these guns will stop all violence but I estimate it will eliminate fifty-five percent of all this senseless violence. The handguns of the world today are killing too many people.
