Healing Miracles
I think that the statement "healing miracles do not happen today" is
wrong, I believe that healing miracles do happen today. I think this
as I see and hear about healing miracles happening daily, we see
healing miracles reported in our newspapers, magazines and on
television. Christians believe that healing miracles do happen today
as Christians have faith in Jesus. When Christians become ill or have
a disease they and their families pray to the lord for help that they
will be healed and watched over, because they have great faith in
believing that God will listen to them and bless them. We are all Gods
children and he loves us all. He created miracles when he was on earth
as a man and he loved us, and his love will never stop therefore he
shall carry on creating his miracles for those who believe and have
faith.
Supernatural and natural miracles are happening today as we do see
them occurring in our everyday lives. E.g. when someone had cancer, it
has been known for him or her to be cured because they have had faith
in the kingdom of God.
However many so-called miracles have natural explanations. That does
not make them any less miraculous. I think that a natural miracle
still could happen as God could choose to perform his miracle through
a natural force.
Miracles help Christians and many other religions to depend on God,
our provider and to turn to believers from reliance on the natural
wisdom of man to trust in the faith of God.
However some people may believe in the statement "Healing miracles do
not happen today". I think this because some people may think as Jesus
is not on earth so therefore healing miracles may not be performed,
and that Jesus cant perform healing miracles just because some people

It is estimated that around a dozen U.S. children will die in faith-healing cases each year. Typically associated with Christianity, Faith healing is founded on the belief that certain people or places have the ability to cure and heal sickness, disease, or injuries. Typically this “healing” is associated by a close connection to a higher power through prayer, divine intervention, or the ministration of an individual who claims himself as a healer. Faith has been scientifically proven in the field psychology to yield benefits to health. Although faith has promised a greater wellbeing for many individual’s lives, it has yet to be a significant replacement for medication many people but relaying on faith as a means for medication.

Relying exclusively on faith healing and avoiding or delaying conventional treatment for a serious illness like cancer may have serious consequences. Death, disability or other unpleasant outcomes have occurred when faith healing was selected instead of conventional care for serious injuries or illnesses.
Throughout time, mankind has persistently been seeking ways to maintain their health and to cure those that had not been so fortunate in that task. Just about everything has been experimented with as a cure for some type of illness; whether physical, spiritual or mental. There has always been evidence of spiritual healing and it will continue to be an important part of any healing process, large or small.
our sin. He did this out of great love for us. This is exemplified in
The two videos that I like the most from this class was the ted talk name “America’s native prisoners of war” by Aaron Huey, and the documentary “When Your Hands are tied” by Mia Boccella and Marley Shebala. These two videos brought my attention because in the first video which is the ted talk the author of the video is an outsider of the society that he is trying to represent he did not go through the experience that the native people that he is trying to defend went through. In the documentary when your hands are tied this is a little bit more personal I think because this is a documentary where people from the tribe and people that went through all this obstacles are trying to heal themselves.

He demonstrated His love even when we did not love Him, by first loving us. The LORD demonstrated His love when Jesus came into the world to seek and save the lost. He paid the definitive sacrifice for those He loved. Equally, we are to love sacrificially. It transcends family and encompasses the beloved community.
Shamanistic healing, one of the oldest spiritual healing powers, has recently become a topic of interest in modern medicine.
According to the advocates of faith healing, there is little that it cannot do. Many religious sects claim they can cure blindness, cancer, AIDs and additional maladies too numerous to list. Some of these sects believe that illness is an illusion that may be healed through prayer either by the patient himself or by a trained practitioner.
This was because He knew that love was the key to growing in their faith and living a life free from Sin.13 Love is only possible because God created it, He knew that humans needed love.14
