Geography is the study of the earth in all its variety; it deals with the human geography, environment geography and the physical geography. Geography is natural in everyone’s lives. It is all around us helping to instill consideration for the world, its environments and its peoples. Geography prepares us to have a better understanding of our individual world and the global world in spatial term. Furthermore, Geography assist us with getting to and from work, It also help with our traveling plans to other states and international countries around the world. It will help you navigate to and from one place to the next.

Geography is the science of place and space. Geographers ask where things are located on the surface of the earth, why they are located where they are, how places differ from one another, and how people interact with the environment. Geography deals with region, location, place, movement and scale. Geography plays a big role in all our lives, without it, we will not be able to plan vacation, go to school, work, grocery stores, and malls, etc.

Every ten seconds the world’s population increases by 27 people. That’s not a fabricated shock statistic. It’s just a statement of fact, according to the Population Reference Bureau. With chance those 27 people will have enough food to eat and clean water to drink and will dwell in civilized homes. They will become police officer, teachers, salespeople, and real estate agent. If all goes well, they will live to a mature old age (National Geographic, October 1998, pp, 6).

In fact most of the problems facing individuals, family, communities, and nation are affected by the quantity of individual portion the planet. Two hundred years ago Thomas Malthus predicted mass catastrophe as an effect of over population. Today 98 percent of population growth is in the developing world.
