The book “How to Kill a Mockingbird” is in my opinion one of the easiest books to form an opinion about. Prior to actually reading the book, I had heard a lot about it, “It’s about these kids that go on adventures, and it’s boring and even that it was a racially biased story.” I am grateful of the fact that I was actually able to form my own opinion and ideas about it. I believe that the book should be kept part high school curriculums because: The book provides insight on what life was like living during the great depression. The book highlights the social and racial division our country once contained and the book contains numerous examples of ambiguity; everyone can form their own opinion and it can be easily discussed.
My first reason as it was stated in my introduction is that How to Kill a Mockingbird provides insight on what life was like during the great depression.
