Even though there is such an amazing amount of things to be thankful for, many people will lead their lives not taking the time to consider how lucky they are. Usually, people who are in a remarkably favorable state will tend to overlook all of the marvelous things they should be thankful for; however, this should not be the case. Sometimes, one should take the time to carefully reflect upon their exceedingly fortuitous position in life. It is not difficult to find things to be thankful for; for example, a person’s parents would have likely played an important role in that person’s life and deserve to be thanked. There are other major things to be thankful for, such as education, friends, and family members. Can you imagine how your life would function without all of these marvelous luxuries?
As I had mentioned before, parents act as an crucial part of one’s life. Without them, one would not even exist in the first place. Furthermore, parents do many things that are vital to a person: they take care of their child, they provide their child with education, they take their child as their priority, and they make sure you have a wonderful and prosperous life. They will strive to make sure that their child is at his or her true potential and that they will always do their best under any situation. Without parents, life would be a difficult journey, a journey that no one would ever want to go on. Yet, many children in the world face this terribly problematic situation. When a child does not have parents to give them an initial push in his or her life, the child will live unhappily and unsuccessful. For these reasons, I am always thankful that I have two parents who think the world of me, will always care for me, and will try their bes...

...rmous and vital role in my life; without them, I would truly be lost.
When taking all of these reasons to be thankful into consideration, one can see that life would be drastically different without having any caring parents, a proper education, or supportive friends and family members. It is critical to remind ourselves about how fortunate we are and how life would be if we never had the things we are thankful for. One also must not neglect the fact that millions around the world do not have luxuries that wealthy people have. Whenever someone is in an amazing and fortuitous state, they should certainly acknowledge everything they should be thankful for. I am incredibly thankful for the fact that I have parents who will strive perfection out of me, teachers who will give me a special opportunity for success, and friends and family members who will always support me.
During thanksgiving I really like to reflect on everything I have and it’s just a great way to remind myself to be more generous and to hold what and who I love dearly and show them that I care about them. Especially during this time of year when everything can be very stressful with the end of the semester and some mid terms, it gives me a chance to think on the less fortunate who don’t even get an education and would love the chance to get what I have. I’m so thankful for my availability to music and the abundance of caring people in my life with so many opportunities for me right at this moment. I realize that a lot of people take everything they have for granted and honestly everyone does this from time to time, I really like to just bluntly tell people that I care about them and that I’m thankful for them to be in my life at this point, even if it's just to remind myself to be more grateful towards them. Just think about what you have and be grateful for the good
Beyond genetics, parents have an extremely significant impact on the emotional, moral, and social development of their children. This is understandable, as many children interact solely with their parents until they reach school-age. Parents have the ability to determine a child’s temperament, their social abilities, how well-behaved or in control of their emotions they are, how mature and ambitious the child will be, and so forth. (Sharpe) Furthermore, parents have both ideals for their children as well as ideals for themselves, and how they raise their children is deeply influenced by this.
Its practice has been seen to be efficacious in healing and improving the quality of life of many people. Whether in terms of enhancing mental health or preventing illness, gratitude is one of life’s vitalizing ingredients. Clinical trials indicate that the practice of gratitude can have dramatic and lasting positive effects on a person’s life. It can lower blood pressure, improve immune function, promote happiness and well being, and spur acts of helpfulness, generosity and cooperation (Emmons & Stern, 2013). Emmons and Stern (2013) from their experiments, assert that gratitude has one of the strongest links to mental health and life satisfaction in any personality trait, more so than even optimism hope or compassion. They maintain that people who experience gratitude can cope more effectively with everyday stress, show increased resilience in the face of trauma-induced stress, recover more quickly from illness, and enjoy more robust physical health.
When I recognize the state of gratitude in which my heart is enveloped, I immediately embrace the Grace of God! I would never know true gratitude if it were not for God’s grace.
I’m thankful for child labor reforms that were developed throughout history allowing me not to have to work in such harsh conditions. These reforms allow me to obtain an education to strive in society today.
What is a family without a parent? A good parent has the image of a provider. Parent is the one that meets all the material needs of the household. The one who worries that nothing lacks to his/her children. Works double shifts and weekends. A good parent has not yet met the present needs, when others have been created; he/she wears out feverishly. But yet he/ she still have time to have the unique experience of seeing the children grow. Having children is a major life-course event no matter what country people live. Children alter how men and women live and how they can allocate their time. The apple does not fall far from the tree. At least that is what has been said for a long time. For some time now, a child has been considered to be a depiction of their parents, but it is never really explained why. There are many possible reasons for why that has become a theory. In many cases a child is exposed to their parents for most of their life and therefore acquire many of their similar traits, one of which includes their self identity. There are many factors that contribute to the development of an adolescent’s identity, one of the most crucial factors being the influence of their parents. It is not news that a parent’s actions have an affect on their offspring’s life, yet the real surprising thing is just how much a parent can affect

Gratitude – you need to be grateful for good deeds done to you, and if possible pass those good deeds on to others.
Certainly not. We cannot be grateful for violence, war, oppression, or exploitation. On the personal level, we cannot be grateful for the loss of a friend, for unfaithfulness, for bereavement. But I didn't say we can be grateful for everything. I meant that we can be grateful in every given moment for the opportunity. We can be grateful for having shelter, education, and food. We can also be grateful for being alive. There are so many more opportunities to be grateful we just don't notice. Gratitude can change our world in immensely important ways. If you're grateful, you're not fearful, and if you're not fearful, you're not violent. If you're grateful, you act out of a sense of enough or satisfy and not of a sense of scarcity. If you are grateful, you are enjoying the differences between people, and you are respectful to everybody, and that changes this power pyramid under which we live.(Steindl-Rast, TED.). If we're all grateful, the world will be a living heaven. All world where everyone is happy full with gratitude. There will be no violence, no war, and no depression. A world that's peaceful and full of happiness to show for our next
Young people’s future and how they are going to act or communicate with other people they are going to meet in life are depend on their parental love. Parental love is really important for kids because it will shape them into who they are in the future. It gives the children the sense of love and how important it is to have someone take care for them. There are kids that do not know who their parents are or they do not get their parental love even though they live together. Some children resent their parents because their parents do not give them enough attention, time and care for them. It’s the parental love that shapes kids into who they are, they want to be loved and care for, and who they want to be with.

From childhood you need good solicitous parents. If you have good parents, it has good effects on you, but if you have bad parents that don’t care about you, it will have negative effects on you and your future. Of course, that’s not a rule, but in most cases that will be the chance. My parents raised me well and have always loved me, and I love them too. If your life has to be good, you always need some resistance from your parents, so it isn’t all sugar in your childhood. Resistance will surely be good for you. My parents always there to support me. I am grateful for my life in many ways and for many reason, I was born 5 weeks premature and one of twins. Though my twin did not survive long enough for me to know him it gave me a purpose to try new things. Whenever I am scared of a new experience such as snow-boarding I think about how lucky I am to be alive and well. This thought helps me to spread my wings and embrace the unknown. Even simple things make me feel thankful, such as running in the rain or taking a walk with my dog or just a lazy Sunday afternoon with myself makes me think how great it is to be alive and here. I have always delight in the small moments in life and to think that they could never exist for me is depressing. Furthermore, being able to share my thoughts and feeling with people I love is something that brings me great joy.
