Taking a Look at Global Warming

904 Words2 Pages

Discuss the evidence that Global Warming is happening and is caused by human activity.

Human activities have changed the Earth’s structure after they have existed on it. The beautiful atmosphere of the earth is losing its beauty due the human development activities. Global warming is alarming concern worldwide today. Global warming and its causes is one of the most debated issues today. Global warming refers to the increase of average world temperatures which cause changes in climate. Rising global temperatures have resulted changes in weather and climate. The human activities such as burning of fossil fuel and deforestation, rise global temperature, decline Arctic sea ice and ocean acidification clearly notes that global warming is happening and is caused by human activities.

The burning fossil fuels produce greater amount of carbon dioxide more than amount needed in the atmosphere affecting the natural carbon cycle, although the green house gases are naturally occurring cycle phenomena. Green house gases such as carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous are natural gases. The burning fossil fuels will change carbon into carbon dioxide. Human activities burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gases are main basic rise in global temperature. These gases are produced by industries and machine that human uses for the development activities. The earth’s atmosphere consists of blanket of gases. These gases function to filter the harmful rays of the sun and to radiate the excess amount of heat produced by the sun rays. This natural phenomenon of filtering harmful rays and radiating excessive heat happens in a normal atmospheric condition. However, the earth’s atmosphere is polluted with poisonous gases like carbondioxide, sul...
