Have you tried planning a large party? Do you ever feel stressed when planning events for family and friends? If so, what types of stress did you experience? Event planners often cause unnecessary stress on themselves from the conditions that weaken their ability for particular tasks. Every type of event from weddings to fundraisers to corporate events, stress is a big factor that is involved. In fact, stress is a part of everyday life. Event planners face more stress planning weddings than corporate events such as conferences because one may over commit one's self, try to meet clients social and personal expectations, and perfectionism.

Every couple wants the "perfect" wedding but people need to realize that nothing is ever perfect. Planners try the best of their ability to make that couples dreams come true. Corporate events are valuable because it can improve the reputation of a business. "Corporate events can increase productivity, strengthen relationships and motivate staff, clients and partner organizations to follow your business' strategic direction" (Corporate Event Planning). Because corporate events are important, businesses hire specialists that know exactly what is required to plan an event that will benefit one's business and those who attend the event. If arrangements do not come through, it can badly affect the business. It can loose clients and jeopardize the business' reputation from being most respected to being incapable of keeping the business' sustainability.
With trying to put in as much time and effort into the event, meeting expectations, and attempting to create the "perfect" wedding for the clients, weddings are very stressful event for planners. When over committing one self, they should have the time to relax to let those stresses sulk away. A planner should also find ways to make the event memorable for all those who attend and should help couples find what makes a wedding "perfect."
