When I was a freshmen in AU, my friend asked me to help him out with his small business, since
I’m specialize in public speaking, communicating with people, and able to speak in various languages:
Cantonese, English, Thai, and Spanish. He had screen printed many different styles of T-shirt, which he
designed himself with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. He wanted me to help him to promote and sell
those T-shirts on the street nearby the Ramkhamhaeng road, and also in my university. It was my first
time ever laid my hands on real business. Through this, I’ve learned that business is a lot more complex
than just knowledge, theories or skills. During my studies in university, I took Phycology and Principle of
Marketing courses. Therefore, I studied a lot about consumer’s behavior, also how “truth drives trust, and
trust drives revenue”. But I notice that understanding just the theories won’t be enough, it’s about how
well we apply/execute those theories in action, which, in my opinion, it’s the main key factor to success. I
feel like I have a lot more to learn in this area.
Ever since my childhood, I have always wanted to study in the field of Business; part of it due
to family encouragement, since both of my parents are merchants. I have always been very curious about
how the real world works. That is the sole purpose why I began my interest in the field of Business. In
my opinion, business reflects our daily life issues, where both involve in decision making. However, in
business, a single decision, such as, signing a contract, may determine the future of the entire company.
My primary aspiration is to own a business, although in order to achieve that, there are numerous

foods, and clothing. These things might not be appealing to us, but it was extremely helpful for them. So
what we did was to help distribute these materials to them. I’m glad that I was able to help them.
My objective is to further strengthening: my management skills, communication skills,
interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and my leadership ability in the following years of study. I believe
these are vital skills which for being a successful entrepreneur. Therefore, I’m planning to focus myself
on these certain criteria of skills, and improve on it. I believe that I have the qualities to forge a successful
career in this area. I hope I can make an effective contribution to this enrollment, and effectively
implement the knowledge and skills that I obtain in this course, to the real business world.

As I have noted, I truly believe that the numerous job skills that are needed to be successful include dedication, communication, and adaptation. First of all, you must be devoted to your career if you want exemplary results. Equally important, being able to articulate your ideas, and intellectually communicate said ideas will ensure a successful time at you occupation. Last but not least, in order to be successful in your employment, you must be flexible to the obstacles that are inevitable. I urge you to strive to obtain these essential job skills because they are worthwhile.
I extremely need to translate my words and speak as clearly as I can. If I create an attitude of modesty and respect, there is a possublity others will respect me as well. I should try to build relationship within my organization. I need to have tolerance for ambiguity and behavior flexibility, so I can influence people in a positive way. I need to become adaptive when I encounter difficulties; I should be capable of interacting in various situations irrespective of my culture where I happen to be.
