“If we value the pursuit of knowledge, we must be free to follow wherever that search may lead us”, said Adlai E. Stevenson Jr. Knowledge and innovation always thrills me and my thirst for more urges me to earn a Master’s degree. When introduced to the field of Computer Science & Programming in my high school, it came to my understanding that they are the dawn of a new era to solve most of the real world problems and bring out modernisms. This enhanced my curiosity to learn more about computers and urged me to become an engineer with flying colors. Further, my involvement in my father’s business and my active participation in organizing events during under graduation helped me realize my strengths in managing resources in the most effective manner possible. I believe that doing Masters in Management Information Systems would be the stepping stone towards my ambition to become a successful Organizational Manager and ultimately take over my family business.
I was greatly inspired by my father’s style of communication with his clients, the division of work, commitment of truth and the appropriate decisions to improve productivity. By assisting him, I learned a lot about the rigmarole management processes that are being carried out to ensure productivity and also the importance of information management and decision making. This fruitful experience has sown the seeds for my interests in management of resources and has increased my eagerness to learn more and specialize in information management and decision making abilities. The state level Secondary School Leaving Certificate examinations have given me the chance to prove my innate logical thinking and problem solving skills where I secured the third highest score in Mathematics. ...g interest to learn the art of handling business operations effectively and inventively should not to be restricted, which is why I believe I should pursue my Masters in Management Information Systems. I have always wished to be a part of the operational and improvement activities in an organization rather than focusing only on developing software applications. The University of Illinois – Chicago with its renowned MIS degree and world class infrastructure inspires me to be its prospective student. Rubbing shoulders with students from different parts of the world would be a great learning experience and guidance from well qualified professors would surely help me to gather knowledge about the business use of information technology. Given a chance to perform, I would confidently prove myself to be a worthy student and hence become a successful professional.

Loris Malaguzzi was the founder of Reggio Emilia schools; he had the thought that all children are capable of learning and construct their own learning. He also thought that family and community are very important in our learning abilities. The Reggio Emilia approach is based on the belief, children are powerful people, there full of desire and ability to grow and construct their own knowledge. He also thought that children have the right to interact and communicate with each other along with respecting each other as well, which I highly agree with him on that! The child is also viewed as being an active constructor of knowledge rather than being seen as the target of instructions. He has this other belief that the child is beheld as beautiful, powerful, competent, creative, curious and full of potential and ambitious desires.
Working with the Pre-Kindergarten age group and using the philosophies and my own beliefs will provide them with the best classroom environment and knowledge that will continue to grow with them. As an early childhood professional, we all have different ways that work the best for us such as our philosophies, methods and approaches. By working with a child on their knowledge and developmental skills we are preparing them for the future. I find that Reggio Emilia, High Scope Approach and Creative Curriculum have worked for me. I have recently started using these three together and they let for the developmentally appropriate teaching of math, reading, science, and arts through countless different activities.
I would have to say that I identify with the Reggio Emilia approach. I like that the curriculum is unique and dynamic and it allows the children to explore using materials from the environment. The teacher’s role is to partner in the learning process. Observe, and document what the children are doing/ learning. I like this way of learning because it engages the student in the learning process. The children work in small organized groups that are mixed together not by their intelligence. I like that every student works and correlates together as a team. They children ask their own questions, generate and test their own hypothesis. This approach works because it gives each child in the group a chance to use their strengths to share their own
My undergraduate study in the Department of Information Technology at JB Institute of Engineering and Technology, one of the best J.N.T.U affiliated colleges, has exposed me to a stimulating environment where methodology of “Learning By Doing” is adopted. This made me learn by knowing, doing it practically to make me better understand, this is relevant to a Chinese proverb, ‘You hear you forget, you see you remember, you do you understand’. This practice has helped me how to learn from the challenges, obstacles and unrehearsed tasks. I not only have a vision but I complement it with good planning and hard work, which is very evident from my academic performance in my under graduation where I have topped the class and stood as gold medalist. And I am so proud to have held the record for securing highest marks till then in the branch of information technology. At the same time I am not a student who concentrates on studies alone. Apart from having academic proficiency, I have been elected as president of Student Activity centre, at the college for the year 20...
“Constant efforts, dedication, devotion and determination are the key to success” This principle I have followed in my career. Setting goals and striving hard to accomplish them has always been my strength in professional as well as personal life. I have always been amazed by computers, code –programs and was keen to understand the underlying meaning, gimmick, structure and pattern of how programs actually work. Learning about simple Foxpro programs, excel sheet formulae, C programs at an early age heightened my interest in computer programs. This childhood interest urged me to do a diploma in information technology and later bachelor’s degree in the same area. Having completed six years course in Information Technology, and two years of experience in IT. I stand by the principal “Stay Hungry” and this has helped me in achieving my goals. Standing by this I would like to explore ahead and pursue MS in MIS. I would like emerge to put to use this knowledge to pursue MS program in MIS.
To achieve a master degree is a goal in my life plan, when I decided to study bachelor's degree in the U.K. During two years of academic study of computer science in Birmingham City University, I enjoyed the British approach to education. It offers an opportunity for students to implement their plan, develop their interest and discover their strengths and weaknesses. In Birmingham City University, I have learnt what I am required to do and I am interested in the field of Information System Development.
I am currently employed as a Software Engineering Senior Analyst at Accenture. The Information system advances so rapidly that at times it is too difficult to keep up with it without proper knowledge and experience. While most of the people do get a relatively easy entry in the field after under graduation, it is very difficult to aim for a constant growth only on that basis. The field demands upgraded knowledge and experience for career growth and (achieve goals). And that is why I aspire, to pursue Masters in Management Information Systems at your esteemed University.
...social interaction and understanding. An IT manager is required to occupy the depth of commercial principles that supports the business process however many manager fail to understand the various process needed to effectively manage the technological enhancement whereas other business divisions spend most of their time and effort in measuring the effectiveness (Williams, 2011). Hence studying BBA with a concentration in computer information system course is unrecognized attribute and leverage.
The challenges in high school helped me to develop a strong capability for analytical and logical way of thinking. This was manifested in my work experience where I have worked on various projects to solve problems and my bachelor’s where I have done exceptionally well in courses related to discrete mathematics, algebra, statistics, computer programming. Though I have good understanding of various technologies in this field but master’s degree will enable me to acquire much more profound understanding and to make much more significant contribution in this field.
My interest in Information Systems Management was drawn when I was working on my final year project at Maharashtra Institute of Technology under the able guidance of the head of the Computer Engineering department. Professor R. K. Bedi’s support provided a much needed boost to my confidence in my programming skills. This new found confidence, in conjunction with the organization management skills I had acquired through active participation in extracurricular activities like “Tesla”, in inter college programming fest, made me realize I wanted to pursue a program that had comprised a blend of both the computer science and management disciplines.
While in the program of Bachelor of Science Information System Management (Hons) in UiTM, this program recognizes information as strategic resource. The purpose is to educate and train students with knowledge and skills in how the way of managing information. This include of analyze, design, develop, and managing various types of information systems for identifying, acquiring, organizing, storing, and retrieving as well as disseminating information for users strategic and competitive purposes.
Being well acknowledged about the above saying has pushed me a mile further for every aspect of my life. The four year engineering course in Information Technology has always been a beautiful experience and has inspired me to put the knowledge into my Masters degree. This would allow me to enhance my knowledge about technology and its pros and cons and the guidance I would need. Gone are those days when man had to slog for simple works, he has advanced into boundaries which are unimaginable and has made his life easy, being an essential part of such an advancement has always been my motive. To attain my goal, my first priority would be in the field of research which will consist experiencing the applications in the real world steered by comprehensive know-how about technology. Technology has prevailed and casted its spell to parts unknown and now has been imbibed into man.
Computer information system makes a system in the organizations. It is frequently termed as Information Technology. It also allows the organizations to identify how to improve the organizational system as well as promote the necessary system skills that encourage us. It is the best method to acquire knowledge of technology that I collected from several career paths. Those career paths which I continued for taking computer information systems. Design systems solutions for maintaining the organizational competence. Moreover, I chose this as my major that fits with my abilities. It depends on exploring my artistic side of knowledge in how to build the system. Jobs, certificates and salaries remained the central purposes of studying this as a major.
I am very glad to apply for admission in the Master Degree in international business and export management offered at your University (IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems). My interest in business management arose early soon after Graduation when I was on a hunt for a job in field of sales and marketing in a multinational pharmaceutical company soon after graduation in 2007.
