The use of drugs are becoming more common today. Marijuana is the most used recreational drug, although this drug is illegal in most states. Other states are legalizing its use for recreation and others for medical purposes against the recommendation of the FDA. Is marijuana beneficial to patients suffering from serious illness or should it remain illegal to save the lives of many?
Marijuana is sometimes referred to as hash, hemp, weed or pot. Marijuana smoke has a distinctive smell that is described as being both a sweet and sour. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, “marijuana can be brewed as a tea and mixed into foods as well.”
