At the core of any successful business is a functioning, well-organized network. The design of that network can be a daunting task for even the most skilled of Information Technology and Networking Professionals. To make that task more manageable it’s easier to divide it up into the key components needed to implement a successful network design. In this proposal we will go through those key areas and understand the needs of Worldwide Advertising Inc. and some of the suggested solutions specific to the organization.
Deployment and Server Editions
Server Editions
WAI is a relatively small sized company in regards to IT needs and specifically when it comes to determining the Windows Server 2012 edition that is appropriate. It’s our recommendation that WAI purchase the Standard Edition of Windows Server 2012. This edition may limit the number of virtual servers to only two instances but the cost is roughly one eighth the cost of the datacenter edition. The virtual server limitations can be resolved in a more cost effective way for the organization.
Server Equipment and Roles
As far as physical equipment is concerned we recommend just two installations. The first installation should be at the home office in Los Angeles and the other at the satellite office in New York. Although there are only two physical locations those machines will be expected to perform a variety of tasks. The various functions a server provides are called roles. “A server role is a set of software programs that, when they are installed and properly configured, lets a computer perform a specific function for multiple users or other computers within a network” (Microsoft, 2013).
For the most part people understand that a server hold informati...

Active directory is the backbone of Windows Server 2012 and fundamental technology in almost every business / enterprise. ADDS is the server services for security and permission in Windows environment. As we’re planning to set up three sites, create user accounts and security policies for those computers, we will need to use Active Directory. Active Directory configuration will present the most optimized replication of traffic and data between each of the three sites and provide fundamental of failover and redundancy.
At this point the quantity of servers can be easily increased if distinctive physical servers are used by each business division's development team. Reconfiguring development and the test environments can consume time when physical servers are shared by teams.
Moreover, Ansoff suggested some main direction that companies should follow to develop market and product conditions. The market development and differentiation strategies suggest that in order to increase sales, WRSX have to offer their services in new developing markets such as China or India. The strategy for market development gives the opportunity to expand their service in order to attract competitors' clients and to expand in unreached markets (Barry, Witcher and Chau, 2010). Potential solution could be acquisition of UK agency competitor to assist WRSX to enter new market quicker and smoother go through the barriers of entry such as government regulations and different culture.
These three strategies I have discussed are based on my personal experiences and opinions. They can be very helpful to someone building a network. The process may be very long and frustrating at times, but can prove to be very rewarding.
Networks are demonstrated not only as a present technology but also a new figure of power and a management form which is decentralized. The world is transformed by globalization into a network society which is constructed by numerous connections that link
One of the initial design considerations when looking at this project was the overall network architecture that the new layout would require. Currently, users have the option to access seven of websites over a regular internet connection. The preferred browser that is used by users is Microsoft Internet Explorer. Users simply enter in the web URL and provide the required username and password when prompted. The other website is accessed via corporate VPN over a secured (https) internet connection. As with the other sites, the employees will be prompted for a username and password and then are granted access to the corporate intranet.
Networks, including the internet, are one of the most essential things to businesses. Without computer networks, companies would be lost and would not have a way to communicate without these systems and this would cause businesses to operate slower (Network 1). Patch works of older networking systems are easier to find these days (Network 1). Starting relationships between many businesses, networks in many ways become synonymous with the groups and businesses they bring together (Network 1). Business employees, customers, and business partners would have available access to their information stored in network systems, could get to their network systems and share them easily among themselves (“Network” 1). Computer networks give their owners speed, ability to connect, and ultimately value to their users. They give possible solutions for business difficulties and issues that would not be possible to other businesses (Network 1). Computer networking systems are required for electronic communications. (Network 1) As time moves on, businesses’ spend a ton of money on computer systems that are used to manage various functions such as accounting, human resources...
As we all know virtualization is the requirement of future. We have evolved from the age of traditional environment to virtual environment. We have grown accustomed to almost all things virtual from virtual memory to virtual networks to virtual storage. The most widely leveraged benefit of virtualization technology is server consolidation, enabling one server to take on the workloads of multiple servers. For example, by consolidating a branch office’s print server, fax server, exchange server, and web server on a single windows server, businesses reduce the costs of hardware, maintenance, and staffing.
Marketing techniques continue to expand and reach new potential parallel with technological changes of the modern world. Emphasis on faster and larger data sharing networks provide open framework for vast possibilities in the field of marketing. Not only do companies have the ability to reach out to people all across the globe but it happens without hesitation due to more powerful, creative, and personal means of communication.
To develop current, effective and universal tool that combine the power of advertising network, could be used to cooperate with external customers.
Virtualization is a broad topic. It can turn one computer into multiples. The cost savings are better appreciated managing multiple machines versus managing single clients accessing virtual desktops. How virtualization works, what it can be used for, the types of virtualization, and the benefits of virtualization are some of the concepts presented.
There has been a big shift happening in the advertising industry over the last few years as online advertising has taken over all forms of major advertising tools (newspapers, magazines, billboards, hoardings, sponsorships and TV ads). The online advertising industry is growing rapidly as players like Google, Face book, Apple, Yahoo are investing heavily in their advertising segment. As the number of internet users and social media is on the rise, online advertising is the need of the hour. Targeting a huge population through this medium is relatively more effective and easy rather than the old and classic ways of advertising. From an entrepreneurs or a business’s point of view, people are more aware than ever of all the advertising mediums available and Google capitalizes on this factor successfully. More and more advertisers are shifting towards online technologies and are able to target a large number of customers with the help of these mediums. This has been the main reason for the decline of the newspaper industry which used to be a really effective tool for advertising. The online advertising got a huge boost due to the technology advancements and user friendly tech. gadgets like laptops, smart phones, I pad and Tablet. Online advertising is disrupting all aspects of the global advertising industry, changing how creative work is done, how advertising campaigns are run and how advertising is bought and sold. It is a “two sided market” (Rochet and Tirole, 2003; Anderson and Gabszewicz, 2005). Intermediaries like Google, Face book and Apple facilitates the connection of advertisers and consumers. The global industry analysts estimate that the world online advertising market will reach almost $ 73 billion by 2015, with market gr...
Corporate Networks in organisations can be complex structures that “requires a great deal of attention” (Clemm 2007). Even small companies can have quite complex networks that are a considerable investment to the business. The notion that corporate network management is a cost to a business rather than a continual beneficial investment is a naive assumption that requires further investigation to the benefits that network management brings. Clemm (Clemm 2007) states in his text that the ultimate goal of network management “is to reduce and minimize total cost of ownership”, improving operational efficiency and lowering cost. Clemm (Clemm 2007) also notes that “Network Management is not just related to cost and quality”, which will be an continual concept presented throughout the report. The report will address key issues with corporate network management and ultimately argue and justify that corporate network management must be seen as a positive benefit to the business and not as a continual expense. The supporting articles will also provide sound evidence that networking is crucial to a business’s processes and production which can be seen from the OpenSSL Heartbleed Security vulnerability fiasco (Nieva 2014) or the QANTAS Amadeus system failure (Heasley 2012).
