Hiring and keeping competent employees is critical to business success. However, you must develop a strategy to discover them. With the right employees you can accomplish many organizational goals. Fortunately, when a conflict arises in an organization, a good business team will know how to handle the situation. Whether a person is a manager, subordinate, or president, it is very important that you avoid a bad hire.
The recruitment process must be handled carefully and taken very seriously. Objectivity, responsibility, qualifications, and a good offer make it possible to recruit potential employees. Recruitment in the public sector must be fair, open, and representative. Usually, the recruitment process involves a few steps. It includes advertisement, testing and screening, preparation, and decision- making. (Denhardt, Robert, Public Administration, Harcourt Brace and Co., Orlando, FL., 1999, pg. 213) The most scrutinized process of recruitment has been testing and screening. This process can happen through interviews, references, recommendations, and proper review of the applications. You can also use higher measures such as performance, assessments, job-related knowledge, and various tests. Without accurate screening, you are likely to hire someone that will not be productive to your organization. This is a fair process to attract prospective employees. Next, you must make sure that individuals have the appropriate qualifications that meet the job description. Then, after intense review you should be able to identify the best-qualified applicant. The plays of a crazed person are renowned enough to be one of the five categories in Noh plays. Noh play does not mean that a crazed person has a mental disorder clinically, but it means that he or she becomes insane because of a mental shock from a certain situation. Several cultures as well as Japan have the theaters that portray mad women. Ancient Greece and Elizabethan England presented the plays about mad women such as mother and crones (Bainbridge). Of all crazed person plays, it is popular that crazed women lose her mind by the grief and resentment of losing her child or loved one in Japan. Dojoji is about a crazed woman who was betrayed by loved one. The daughter of the lord who became a crazed woman later believed that she would get married to a priest who stayed her house every year, but the priest had no mind to marry her. Thus, she got upset and turned into a snake, and she killed him who hid in the bell in Dojoji temple. Even though long time passed, she felt resentment and changed to snake again. However, she disappeared for the pray of priests. I will analyze crazed woman’s madness in Dojoji: why she becomes insane and how the madness is expressed in Noh play.
In conclusion, the ability to hire “fit” candidates is essential to effective leaders. Following these techniques will allow leaders to avoid costly hiring mistakes. Also, these techniques will develop successful teams and organizations. The article states, “We hear from line and HR executives in many companies that leaders should devote as much effort learning from failures in management selection as they spend, for example, on reviewing the reasons for losing customers and on failed bids for new projects.” This will hopefully help leaders to avoid losing customers and failed bids for new projects.
As stated by Dessler (2011) selection of the right employees is imperative for numerous reasons. These reasons can include the knowledge that organizations performance is contingent on its subordinate’s ability. Moreover, it should be common knowledge that employees with the reliable skills and characteristics will perform better for the company. On the other hand, employees who lack those skills or who are slacker will not perform efficiently, and the organization’s performance will suffer (Dessler, 2011).
Firms need to keep competitive with the industry and do in order to bring in the most talented people they need to make sure they are doing everything they can to recruit the best possible talent. In today’s business marketplace it is not only to create a product that consumers would want but to keep the company innovative and on the cutting edge of business, they will also need to hire the right talent. The human resource department and recruiting firms need to understand what the business world is looking for and how to achieve the goals of the company. Anyone can fill a position within a company but to get the right person is much harder to do. Understanding the goals and corporate environment that the business has developed, then it will more efficiently attract the best talent.
The Bermuda Triangle is a baffling mystery that leaves many questions unanswered. It has taken countless amounts of oblivious peoples’ lives away. For decades, the Atlantic Ocean’s remarkable Bermuda Triangle has seized the human mind with unsolved vanishings of ships, planes, and people. The unidentified area started in 1945, when a navy aircraft pilot took off from Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale, Florida for a training mission and was never seen again (Mayell 2003). This event also known as “Flight 19” arose lots of doubt about the Triangle, people started to narrate the story with their own words creating many questions about this enigma. There are many theories and hoaxes about the existence and capabilities of the Bermuda Triangle; some disagree with its reality entirely, others simply believe it is a natural incident of nature. The Bermuda triangle is a place that boggles many scientists even in this day and age. The Bermuda Triangle, referred to by some as the Devil's Triangle, is in a western region of the North Atlantic Ocean where countless aircraft, ships and people have inexplicably disappeared. Throughout the years of 1955 and 1975 more than 428 vessels disappeared, along with 100 ships and 1000 lives (Obringer1). Where did these people and ships disappear off too and how come no remains were found is the mysterious question people yearn to find out. Back in the 1964, the Bermuda triangle was often nicknamed as The Devil's Islands, because sea travelers could hear various different screeching noises coming off the shores (Obringer1). The Bermuda Triangle is a whirl pool of mysterious occurrences where things have magically disappeared without any remains and no matter how many theories scientists come up with to solve the mysteries of this enchanted island, none come close to having answers for any incident that occurred on this island.
