The health triangle is a triangle that has 3 different aspect of your everyday life. The most commonly known factor is physical health. Physical health is the body’s ability to function depending on the state of your body and how it is treated. This includes exercise, nutritions, rest, and weight managements. The remaining two factors is known as emotional/mental and social. Although it is not considered by many people, the two factors is just as important as much physical health. Mental health deals with how we think, feel, and handle or react to situations. Social health deals with how we deal with the people within your environment. By blending all sides of the triangle, you can achieve maximum health to your life. But in other words, if you lack a side, it could affect the other 2 sides as well. When a person gains weight, they think the main cause is the fat that is included in the food they eat. They are terribly mistaken. According to the video Hungry for Change, they say, “ In the 1900’s, an average person only consumed about 15g of sugar a day. But in the present, modern adults consumes 70-80g of sugar a day, and teens consumes about 120-150g”. Sugar is not only a unhealthy diet and obesity, but it is the main cause of overweight. Sugar does not contain fat, but when people eat more calories than they burn, the remaining calories stays as fat. By being overweight, it can impact a person’s entire quality of life. In the physical health, the right kind of food gives you the strength and energy to make it through in your everyday lifestyle. In other words, by eating the wrong kind of foods, you won't get the energy you need in your life. In the mental/emotional health, a little stress is good for your body because it gives ... ... middle of paper ... ...s on my social life, as well as being active in front of people. In conclusion, the reason why people are overweight is because of the sugar and artificial products. If they start to eat natural foods instead of man made foods, you will have physical health to the max. If you have good physical health, you get good mental/emotional health. If you have good mental/emotional health, you will have good social health. Finally, if you have good social health, you then go back to good physical health. By having all sides of the triangle, it gives you the best health and will make your life full of happiness. But the reason why people are continuing to buy man made products is because they don’t know the reason why they became overweight. If they realize what they are consuming every day, they could change their view on man made foods and consider eating natural products.
