“Over two million copies sold” seeing that on the cover of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens I told myself to give it a chance. I had heard many different opinions about the book. Most of my peers were not overly excited when the y finished. However I decided to go into reading the book with a positive attitude knowing if I did enjoy it writing a paper about it would be much easier and I might even learn something. Reading The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens I saw many ways each habit pertained to my life. Some I felt I practiced fairly well while reading about a few others I knew I needed a little work. The habit I need the most work on is undoubtedly being proactive and the habit I need the least work on is sharpening the saw.

When I read that chapter about being proactive it got me really excited. I knew I was not the greatest at being proactive. However I also saw how helpful the tips in this chapter were.
