Math is found in literally everything. It is apart of our lives whether we recognize it not. Even when do something simple like go to a movie theater to enjoy a film like Frozen or Wall-E. Without Math none of these movies would be possible. Math is used in animations all the time. Every second we watch an animation we see math at work. All the characters that move and flash before our eyes are able to do that because of math concepts like algebra and trigonometry.

Animators don't exactly use math, but the programs they use to create this animations cannot work without math. Math is used animation for calculating movement and frame rates. Frame rates are how many frames per second the animators needs to make the character move fluidly within the time particular by the script. Math is also needed for viewpoints, aspect ratios, character movement, artificial lighting, and color balance. Computer animator use different math techniques to produce their animations.

Frequently mathematics is used to manipulate complex three-dimensional objects like polygons. They do this by applying textures, lighting and other effects to the polygons and rendering the completed image. Graphical user interfaces are used to create the animation and arrange its choreography. Another technique called constructive solid geometry defines objects by conducting process on regular shapes which gives the advantage and makes it so that animations may be accurately produced at any resolution.

Rendering a simple image of a room with flat walls and a pyramid in the middle of the room uses mathematical problems like geometry and ratios. Each wall, the floor and the ceiling is a simple rectangle. Each corner of the rectangles is defined by three values re...

As creating moving objects requires complete accuracy and precision. This is why the programs that animators use can be doing thousands of calculations at a time to ensure that the final picture is as smooth and clear as possible because no one wants to see a movie where all the character are out of focus or glitching. The programs animators use are big calculators for their mathematical problems. Without math everything on the program would not be quite organized, and just would make everything more complicating to work with and take much longer to complete. This is why math is so important and with this we can also see how math is truly found in any and everything.
