The world as it is represented by society today is a very big place. Throughout this “public sphere,” there are many things that influence us as a whole. Many of the things that have the biggest impact in our lives are most commonly communicated through the Mass Media. The Mass Media has evolved a lot since the printing press was established back in 1454. Through the Media, much can be said during one instance to the general public without as much effort. It started with print, and then developed into a language and soon it became something that was digital and handheld. The Media today is most commonly communicated through and collaboration of the three, the printed newspaper; broadcasted from television stations across the globe, as well as through a simple click of the mouse with the invention of the internet. During the present time era the internet has become the most used resource for doing research and finding generalized information. The internet can now be accessed almost instantaneously, because of developing technology such as wireless networking waves. People can access the internet from home, school, work, cell phones and almost any other electronic device that has the ability to establish an internet connection. By having the convenience of the internet mobile, and right at our fingertips we find that almost anything is possible. With this technology we can send instant messages to our friends, look up our current location and the surrounding area on Google’s digitalized maps of the Earth, and even find out the current news for places half-way around the world. Just at the push of a button, it seems that the possibilities are endless.
