Local Education Authority Summary I find it important to make a note of the distinct location and profound history of Belarus before we proceed into the summary and analysis. Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe which sustained unrelenting brutal damage due to the nastiest nuclear explosion in history. Belarus was severely contaminated resulting in the resettlement and relocation of 336,000 people. The Chernobyl explosion in April 1986 has left the country of Belarus completely abandoned and became relentless to newcomers. As a newcomer to Belarus, Ales Rakovich has been given a battle between organizational cultures, administration system, the Local Educational Authority (LEA) as well as routines and traditions that has led the employees of LEA to utter comfort in the workplace. Adam Lozinsky was the former head of LEA gave a sense of character to the organizational culture by following the work habits of his easy routine, which in due process has led the office of fourteen people, assume this was standard. In result, there are no formal policies stating or defining rule when staff had to arrive to the office or leave each day. Everybody followed Lozinsky’s timetable, in at nine out by five, nothing was said to the employees so the tradition lives on. This led to predictability for each other, a workable pattern, a tradition that everybody abided by and a working norm which was followed by most LEA employees. The core of the issue here is not in all fourteen employees but one central player in the game; the secretary. In fundamental nature of the secretary is the hub of the organization and has a pre-determined role to perform as a conduit and to handle correspondence and clerical work for an organization. Once this conduit is interrupted or disconnected in anyway, the message is lost and we encounter a barriers of communication. Analysis The past can directly influence the present and the future state of the organization. Adam Lozinsky has left a tradition that led the employees to a comfortable workable schedule according to their standards. The pressure is ultimately built on two key individuals; Ales Rakovich the head administrator and his secretary Olga who is the only secretary in the organization. We know little about Ales Rakovich’s administrative procedures as the new head other than the "New Regimen" which is to visit the local school districts starting at eight o’clock in the morning and returning to the office at about noon.
Patagonia has created a work environment solely based off self-management and allows employees to work when and how they please, as long as they complete their work efficiently and in a timely manor. Some of the distinctive benefits that the company provides for their employees include flexible work arrangements, a very casual dress code, informal atmosphere, no private offices, healthy food, onsite day care, minimum bureaucracy, ad an anti-growth mentality. For example, at Patagonia’s office in Ventura, California, there is no dress code or specified shifts that employees have to work. And surprisingly, Yvon Chouinard, has the same desk as all the rest of the employees, representing equality in the work place, no matter individual employee’s positions. Their approach on creating a family workplace and friendly environment that their employees enjoy being a part of, which has also contributed to the company’s overall

The main challenge that Rocky Road School District is currently facing is the several lawsuits from former parents and staff. As well as the lack of team work that is shown within the district. Having a meeting with all Principals in the Rocky Road district is a most. Negotiation of teacher’s contracts and the hiring of new qualified teachers which will help assist the testing scores for the district. Giving parents a sense of comfort that their children are being well educated is a key challenge. My main challenge will be getting all parties involved in the movement to “Strive for Excellence.” Our main concern is getting faculty, staff, student, parents and the community working together to make Rocky Road School District successful, it takes a team to fix such a messy situation.
At the Oakes Public Schools, the coaching contract is a section of the teachers negotiated agreement. The contract also states that all efforts will be made to fill all extracurricular positions with teaching faculty, and any community members may have their job re-posted following the season, regardless of performance. For faculty members, the contract is also annual, and renewed pending evaluation. North Dakota does not have tenure, so all teachers are year-to-year employees, as are coaches.
The factors operating in the Rancho Solano’s internal environment consist of the owners, executive committee, staff and the culture affecting the effectiveness of the organization (Maier & Zenovia, 2012). The internal environment would affect the success of Rancho Solano forever. To further the investigation, there has to be a clear understanding of the general environment which are the economic conditions, social-cultural, legal-political
Chernobyl was the greatest nuclear disaster of the 20th century. On April 26th, 1986, one of four nuclear reactors located in the Soviet Union melted down and contaminated a vast area of Eastern Europe. The meltdown, a result of human error, lapsed safety precautions, and lack of a containment vessel, was barely contained by dropping sand and releasing huge amounts of deadly radioactive isotopes into the atmosphere. The resulting contamination killed or injured hundreds of thousands of people and devastated the environment. The affects of this accident are still being felt today and will be felt for generations to come.
In 1954, the Brown vs. Board of Education ruling swept the nation, this resulted in the decision that segregated public schools were unconstitutional. While the ruling of this case was in favor of African Americans, and not the Board of Education, this decision forced schools to desegregate resulting in riots and hatred towards African Americans. Due to the Brown vs. the Board of Education ruling, African Americans did not have more freedoms, in actuality it set them back fifteen years according to President Eisenhower.

In order to explain the adaptive leadership in the case of Mihailovic I will briefly review the essence of adaptation and adaptive leadership.
Currently, Chernobyl holds the record for largest nuclear incident in the world. Some areas of Europe were substantially contaminated by the radiation released; particularly Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia. The explosion of the reactor caused for massive evacuation for anyone who was even remotely close to the explosion. This turned most cities around the area into ghost towns with populations ranging from double digits to the low hundreds. Even though a large majority evacuated, a large portion were still affected by the radiation because they were within the range of the incident and/or they took too long to move out of the vicinity. This caused millions...

She conveys that business administration should avoid troublesome internalization by using an integrative technique. Unfortunately, Follett does not elaborate further on the context of what might this integration method appear to be. She changes the direction of her focus back onto the preparation of giving orders. Now, giving orders is a significant component to management but Follett should have provided additional information revolving the integration of management and the giving of orders. Fairholm suggests, “they misunderstand the evolving nature of authority derived from changing social structures, and because they have missed opportunities to tie in research procedures and focuses from intellectual interests such as psychology, sociology, history, and political science, not just scientific management, Weberian bureaucracy, and the like.” (Fairholm. 2004). Follett provides psychological perspectives, however maybe she misunderstands other perspectives, why further development is needed for her to examine. Follett later admits there is additional psychological, learning about the development of habits and the preventative measures of giving orders greatly surpasses than what she can explain in this article. It would be interesting if, she has examined and considered other theories and philosophies surrounding giving orders and
As Russia has industrialized in an attempt to compete for power and wealth, they have exploited an enormous amount of their natural resources. As a result, Russia is now dealing with a degrading environment, infrastructure issues and the various repercussions of their pollution. One major issue that Russia is dealing with is the nuclear damage from the Chernobyl nuclear reaction explosion. This explosion occurred in 1986 and has caused devastation, which continues to impact Russia’s environment almost 30 years later (Nurlybaev, & Maslyaev, 2011). The Chernobyl nuclear accident occurred in Ukraine and caused large quantities of radioactive particles spread over Russia. While this explosion was an accident, it affected over 500,000 people and continues to cause radiation and health problems today (2011). This explosion has impacted and contaminated some of Russia’s natural resources and will continue to do so until Russia begins to find a way to impose more environmentally friendly practices.
