Living Green: A Radical Change

For the past hundred years, man has thought, and put to work a lifestyle to better the lives of all peoples living on earth. It was called the industrial revolution then, and it was an exciting time where many people had jobs, men and women, more rights were being made, and everybody seemed happy. As the many years went by, technologies continued to grow at a very fast rate until the point where a new era emerged to what is called today, globalization. Nation-states no longer need to independently carry their economies on their backs. Now there is a push for global trade, and economic growth where everybody around the world grows together, and expands their economic markets as one unit… But at what cost?

Since the rise of globalization, we have seen the ups of new technologies but also the lowly lows that we are now facing, and enduring of the economic global downfall. We have seen that not only do we run at a faster pace but that our environment is starting to play catch up with us as we sprint off towards our very destruction. A see-saw effect emerges; as we push our hardest to jump for a consumerist way of life then well see in front of our very eyes the world’s environment come crashing down to the ground. How do we stop this? The people of this planet must adopt a radical change in their way of thinking and accept that a life full of green is not just another chore but a life changing moment for all of mankind. They must adopt a greener way living by buying green products, eating organic foods, and most importantly living green.

...nt for all of mankind. I think people in our day and age are being scrambled and stur-fried into making money and to quickly spend it and the people behind this are doing a damn good job it. We have to really stop and think and think real hard. What do I have to do to make this world a better place not only for me but for my family and for all the families out there around the world?
