My Thoughts on Legalizing Marijuana

Legalize It!
Growing up as a child I’ve been taught that drugs are bad, my parents have always frowned upon drugs and being my parents and role models I took in everything they told me to be true, until now. Drugs are a way of life, they’re around us everywhere. Advil is a drug used as an anti-inflammatory to help patients who suffer from fevers, headaches, and just pain in general, but the drug i’m focusing on is marijuana. Marijuana has been tested and proven to provide a very positive impact on the American society for many reasons. Marijuana is used for different medical reasons. It aids patients with ADHD, multiple sclerosis, nausea resulting from chemotherapy, crohn's disease, glaucoma, epilepsy, insomnia, migraines, arthritis, and for patients with a lack of appetite. Marijuana is harmless and needs to be legalized for medical use in all states.
Marijuana is one of the most popular drugs in the world. Users most commonly use it by smoking its leaves, stems, buds, or flower to experience of sort of hallucinogenic. Scientist discovered that not only does marijuana have a intoxication effect but that it could be used for medical reasons as well. Marijuana has been tested by many scientists who would all agree that it should be legalized if controlled properly by the government. Marijuana has been proven to help with different diseases for different people who are suffering from illnesses where marijuana can help alleviate the pain or make the illness go away.I believe that marijuana needs to be a controlled substance by the government and should be legalized for medical reasons as it could help patients ease pain. I don’t see why we make pot illegal if it is proven to help medical conditions. Alcohol is legal and the only medical condition it leads to is liver cancer, So think twice before deciding which one is safer. (Medical)
Marijuana needs be legalized for medical use in all states because it helps alleviate pain and ease the symptoms of certain patients suffering from medical conditions and disabilities. It also can help people get jobs and there’s no reason why marijuana shouldn’t be legalized for medical use. If your dying grandmother with multiple sclerosis is having trouble getting rid of her pain wouldn’t you want to help her out? Then join the movement on legalizing marijuana, it will help your dying grandmother and will help society.
