Recommended: The positive and negative effects of social media for business

‘Beep’ that was the sound of notification of the message on my smart phone, my friend just wrote on my Wall. Yes, I mean on Facebook. He’s got promoted to CEO. And guess what he has even uploaded the celebration video. Isn’t that remarkable? I am in Bahrain and my friend is in Australia.

Social Networking is a diversified technology today, which makes it possible to travel around the world while just sitting in your chair. Communication was particularly a challenge in the past, locally or abroad but it was a tedious affair. But speaking of today, I think it’s just a piece of cake. All thanks to the Social Media. It’s considered one of the essential backbones of online technology which connects billions of people with different backgrounds on a single platform.

I will be discussing about the enormous possibilities and its influence on our society and how it is being used in various fields. As I am also one of the users out of billions of Social Networking, and the way it has helped me made connections across borders with regards to my studies is exceptionally miraculous. Though the users of such social sites should be cautious in some ways for it does have its downsides at one point or another for many people are appealed to the negativity while ignoring its good contribution.

Trade and Business is one of the segments of our society which has harvested the most out of social media in the today’s digital generation. With time and accelerated advancement, people became adaptive. I have discovered that the social networking sites both Web based and Mobile based like Google, Facebook, Cloud, Skype, Wikipedia, Hotmail, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Myspace, Instagram, Whatsapp, Viber, Tumblr etc. has helped individuals and g...

...owever, it’s evident, that using of such social sites does create educational, marketing and cooperative expansion. It is always up to an individual, as to what he makes out of the opportunity at hand, as to how he makes use of the new technology rather than misusing it. As per my study and analysis for the given subject, all in all, it is true that the Social Networking has its pros and cons. Nevertheless, advantages of this digital worldwide connection do undoubtedly outweigh its disadvantages which I agree are fair few. Encouraging prosperity like the development of economy, relationships between Business firms and their customers, global educational interaction are far more complimenting and vivid achievements. Therefore despite few bad experiences of group of society and individuals with regards to Social networking cannot portray this technology as a disaster.
