“You may delay, but time will not.”It has been almost a year since I arrived to America. I still clearly remembered how shy I was when I first stepped into my host family’s house. Apparently, life in the U.S is absolutely contrasting to one in Vietnam. I had to suffer from a very miserable culture shock for a long period of time. Everything was new for me. I felt so nervous and confused whenever I went out. As a result, I spent most of my time at home to watch movies, play computer games, and listen to music in the first 3 months. Luckily, when the fourth month said hello, things went in a better way. I was fulfilled with confidence. I started to make friends and go out more often. I went to many places that were known as “places that you should visit when you are in Seattle”. I have been in Space Needle, SAM, South Center Malls, Mount Rainier, and now is Infinity Night Club. Infinity Night Club just had been added to my “places need to go” list last Saturday. It definitely was a brightest idea that I have never made before. It completely changed the way I thought about clubs in the U.S. It helped me learn more and more about American life. Infinity has both different and similar aspects compare to which I had expected it to be such as: atmosphere, people, and serving style.
First of all, the most important thing to make a club become favorite and attract customers is its atmosphere which will contribute to convey the happiness to its customers. The atmosphere is the internal and external image of the club. I expected Infinity to have a very rock-and-roll outlook with a giant picture of a sexy model in a bikini hanging up, a frame of dazzlingly colorful bright lights which flickered continuously in the dark, and two muscular sec...

...very thoughtful and preoccupied. They talked courteously and graciously. There were always smiles on their faces. Customers’ pleasantness is the goal that they set for themselves and customers’ smiles are their valuable gifts.
In conclusion, the differences and similarities in atmosphere, people, and serving style between my expectation of Infinity and the reality that I had discovered definitely were my worth experiences in the U.S. It is true that “You will not know about it until you experience it”. The trip to Infinity taught me a lesson about things are not like what you think they are. Interaction with society to expand your knowledge is vital. Living and disclosing life are the best ways to realize how beautiful life is. Like James Dean, an American motion picture actor from 1931 to1955, said “Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.”
Her biggest accomplishment is maintaining her clientele. She gets the same customers that she did when she first opened. In chapter four of Organizational Behavior, it explains how managers can influence moods of customers. Ms. Byrd gives great deals to regular customers to keep them coming back. A customer’s mood automatically changes when receiving a good deal.
Having prior knowledge of a customers needs, habits, and questions before or during every interaction and transaction can boost customer satisfaction. (Zueschner, Raymond. (1997). Communicating Today. Boston: Allyn and Bacon.
Customers are in awe of the stance this company has taken not only for the customer service but the way they tend to care and want the best for their employees. It has been proven time and again that a great management team can create a great working atmosphere and that initially trickles downhill to the other employees that are hands on with the customers. It’s simple, happy employees equal happy
Stepping out of my first plane ride, I experience an epiphany of new culture, which seems to me as a whole new world. Buzzing around my ears are conversations in an unfamiliar language that intrigues me. It then struck me that after twenty hours of a seemingly perpetual plane ride that I finally arrived in The United States of America, a country full of new opportunities. It was this moment that I realized how diverse and big this world is. This is the story of my new life in America.

Let me take you back about 10 years, back to the year 2006. On any given Friday night, you could find me getting ready to meet my friends at Sportsmen’s. My friends and I always dressed to impress when hitting our favorite hot spot or as we liked to refer to Sportsmen’s as Headquarters. Knowing I would be going to Sportsmen’s filled me with excitement and anticipation. Walking into Sportsmen’s would always put a smile on my face, because I was greeted as soon as I would open that door. The people there were so friendly and ready to have some clean fun. Of course, every bar has their regulars. I was proud to be one of them. Now Sportsmen’s is a quaint little one story building. It is clean but smoke fills the air. (The no smoking law hadn’t been passed in Harlingen yet.) The interior is dimly lit. There is a large wooden bar at the far back wall
I had just graduated high school, and in a week I would be going on an adventure. I was about to study abroad in Costa Rica. I had patiently waited my whole senior year for this trip. All I could think about was how fun it would be, all the new people I would meet and all the trips we would go on while there. Not once did the social dynamic enter my mind. In my mind studying abroad was this perfect paradise.
When a customer walks in the store with a smile, it's store clerks or managers responsibility to make him/her leave with a smile.
Our interactions with the customer, the promises made to the customer in these conversations, the customer's expectations generated in these conversations, and the actions we take that are consistent with those expectations combine to produce a declaration of satisfaction when we ask.
I was convinced by my friend to sign up for it and in return, I was picking with a few of my peers and upperclassmen. It was the day my life changed, I was going to someplace new and undiscovered by myself. Barely knowing how to say “hello” and “I don’t know,” I boarded on a flight to China. Meeting new people as well as befriending them, tasting new foods and climbing the Great Wall was a completely new experience I have had influenced my growth as a global citizen, but I realized that I was missing all of everything. The cultures, the beautiful languages of the world and the different
Traveling the world is an adventure of a lifetime. From the things that can be seen to the people that are met, it is sure to be an adventure of a lifetime. There is so much more to see than anyone can imagine. Experiencing a new culture can be a shock at first, but the interesting qualities will soon shine through. Over the summer I had the chance to travel to Okinawa, Japan. I stayed there two months with my father and traveled the entire island from the north to the south. My travels in Japan changed my view of myself as an American citizen through experiences that reassured my patriotism, made me realize the necessity of preservation of our history, and increased my desire to continue to explore the unknown.
I soon grew and expanded my mind to take in realities of this world. Of all the facets of life I learned, the ones I most enjoyed were about the outer realms of space. The fact that our planet is an insignificant speck in the cosmos captivated my imagination. There is a lot more beyond our Earthly setting that holds limitless mysteries. You can imagine how amazed a little boy such as me could have been when he heard the beginnings of such possibilities. And these curiosities grew as I grew. Now as I have begun to delve into the collegiate world, I will take
The five hours in Sonora Center definitely changed my view and the life in ASU that made me a more mature person than before. To be honest, I am a child born in a harmonious family, and nothing could bother me because of the protective shield that my parents provided in order to protect me. However, after I traveled 12 hours by plane to further my abroad study at ASU and reach my first-year dorm--- Sonora Center, the five hours in there changed me forever.
