Veterinarians are very important; they have a very great job in our environment. They help animals in need or assistance; they strive to get their job done. They save a bunch of lives and families and they try their best to take great care of their patient’s animals. Veterinarians take care of their patients with a lot of love and they make sure when their patients owners take them home they are good as new.
Veterinarians have a lot of work on their hands; they take care of pets and animals health. Each of these tasks require their own abilities helping needy animals, for example: lab work deals with collecting samples of tissue, blood, and urine, nursing involves with taking care of the animals after the surgeries and checking on how their responding to the procedure (U.S. Bureau of Labor).
For this project, I decided to take on the career of a veterinarian. As a veterinarian, I would have to examine animals to diagnose their health problems, treat and dress wounds, perform surgery on animals,test for and vaccinate against diseases, operate medical equipment(x-ray machines, etc.), advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments, prescribe medication, and euthanize animals. To get a job in this profession, you have to have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. You also have to have to take many science classes including biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, zoology, microbiology, and animal science.You would have to take about four years of college which adds up to about $100,000 dollars in student

For as long as I can remember, my childhood dream has always been wanting to become a veterinarian. As well as decision making, they have to be able to communicate with others during an operation. One trait a veterinarian must have is manual dexterity, which is having steady hands for operations.
