Many may not realize it, but the teaching of science is of great importance in the education of a child or adolescent. It is more than a mere recitation of facts to remember. Science is all about the way how things work. We do things on a day to day basis and we don’t even realize all the science behind it. For example, we may open a light. We may flick a light switch, and the house gets all lit up. Was that magic? No. So how does it all happen? Have we ever put any thought into it? Wherever we turn, whatever we do, we are involved in doing things which are subjects within the realm of science. Science is a field where there is continuos development. As much as we may consider ourselves to be advanced in that study, tomorrows’ innovations and discoveries, relegate todays’ position and objects to the museum of the archaic, ancient, and obsolete.
