Every day illegal immigrants work as hard as any other American to built a life in this country. However, they are not offered the same opportunities or treated the same way as your average citizen. Is equal opportunity for everyone? We find in the Declaration Independence the quotation that "all men are created equal".Therefore we should all be treated equal across the board, no matter race, color, gender, nationality, and in this particular case, residency or citizenship status.. These laws pertaining legalization for residency or citizenship for this illegal immigrants needs to change.

I do not think the government knows how this immigration laws truly impact this human beings or the potential negative effects that can have in our country's economy and society. These illegal immigrants are working everywhere from your average housekeeper to even nurses at time. There are duties in certain jobs that your average American citizen would refuse to perform like dishwasher, cooks, landscaping, construction, housekeeping, etc. Who would perform these jobs instead of them? Would they do it for the same salary? These people are willing to do these jobs for less pay than what your average citizen would get paid for to do the same job. I think it would be catastrophic to the United States economy to sent every illegal immigrant back to his/hers country of origin just because they entered this country illegally, we are better than that.To do this is constitutionally and morally wrong, but it happens every day.

I have seen with my own eyes the struggle this illegal immigrants have to go through in order to stay in this country. This people live day by day thinking if today is going to be their last day living in this country...

...r themselves. I always thought immigrants made their decision to live here in America based on media and other sources in their country. However they are aware of all the struggles they will encounter moving to America. Their perspective to this struggles encountered by moving to this country, is that they need to earn their right to live here to enjoy the opportunities America has to offer. These immigrants have rights just like everyone that lives in this country. Their rights are violated every day and the law is not being hold accountable for that. One of the greatest quality a human being possess is to recognize their mistakes and to learn from them. We have done that for thousand of years, sometimes changing laws and some of these changes in laws making a great impact in our history. These immigration laws are wrong and is time for another change in history.
