School. An institution where students want to achieve an education in order to compete for jobs in the global market. An academy where scholars acquire knowledge to build their intelligence in life. No matter how people define the meaning of school, they can all agree that an epitomic school environment is the principal factor that they can learn the materials best. No one prefers a school that distracts them from their education: negative reasons such as gossips, drugs, gangs, and bullying. That is why an ideal school experience usually consists of positive surroundings and internal motivation.
A positive neighborhood will increasingly boost the student’s ability to stay in school and attain the learning materials. For instance, a person who is enclosed with drugs or alcohol has a negative correlation to the number of dropouts in high school. According to research, “Students who drink or use drugs frequently are up to five times more likely than their peers to drop out of high school” (Hardcastle, “Marijuana Use”).
