Keeping a car clean and washing it on a regular basis is important, but to keep a car looking show case nice, you need to wax and polish it every few months. Sure everyone can have a clean car, but what really makes it stand out will be the shine it will have after a good touch up and giving it that new-car look back to it. There is a saying that goes like this “a car is only as clean as the owner”, so why not make a good first impression pulling up to a scene and showing off that hard earned money invested into a luxury ride.
First of all, the car should be clean and dry before there’s any sort detailing going on. The car should be washed in a clean environment to avoid any dirt particles getting it on it after its wet. Soap and water will

Clay is used to remove deep ground-in dirt and stains without damaging the car's fresh coat. To keep newer cars with clear-coat paint, it’s vital for clay to be used on them. Clay works wonders on models with the new style of paint. Claying can be time consuming but the vehicle will appreciate it in the long run. One way to start is by spraying the areas with spray on detailer then sliding the clay back and forth to make the clay grabs everything it needs. The clay mainly pulls of the dirt and unnecessary particles that the car has on the coat. There's one major issue: Don't drop the clay! Not dropping the clay will keep off any dirt that will the scratch the car if used. If dropped a new clay will most likely be needed. The detailer that will be sprayed on the car makes things slick, be sure to be careful. Once the claying process is done, the car should look and feel smoother but not so much as to where the waxing will do. Clay removes both dirt and wax, so there’s a chance of rewaxing after claying. If the car's finish is in good shape, using a combined polish/wax product will be ideal, and after the finish, if the coat is still looking rough, a double polish/wax is preferred to even out the paint. Polish smooth’s, clarifies, and cleans the surface of the vehicle. Polishing is one the important steps in detailing the car. It will remove small scuffs and scratches, but if polishing by hand, light pressure is desired for this. If not careful, heavy pressure can and will remove the paint. It’s preferred to do one side of the vehicle at a time so the polish won’t be sitting on too long. After applying the polish to either the right or left side, let it dry then be sure to immediately wipe off the left over polish. This prevents the polish from sticking to the paint too much. Repeat the same process on the other side. Waxing the vehicle should be more enjoyable and easier due the

Another interesting aspect of the film is the ambiguity of the man polishing the car. The shots are all done very carefully, so that the man’s face is never seen until the very end of the short. At one point it goes to a close up of the body being buffed, with a fairly revealing reflection of the man, but not his face.
Owning a car is usually a significant investment for an individual. Changing the oil on your car plays an important part to help keep it functioning at peak performance and to ensure that your vehicle last for many miles. You might wonder how often does the oil need changing. Well, manufactures advise that the oil is changed every 3,000 miles or every three months, whichever occurs first. Changing the oil is not an extremely difficult task, but it is always good to have someone else there, who has done this before, to help if needed. I would also suggest finding an outfit you wouldn’t mind getting dirty and a pair of rubber gloves to keep your hands clean.
My conclusion to my Porting and Polishing project paper. The things that i talked were the step by step process, everything that you will need, how to port and polish, the main effects that you will get out of porting and polishing and the overall cost of everything depending on if you do a whole head job. This will benefit you in some ways if you like low end torque/ take off speed/ put you back in your seat power and better gas mileage. But i mean who doesn't like better gas mileage. Thank you for listening to this big long process on how to port and polish your head/ heads.
Let it dry for 24 hours and use a new rag to buff the leather. Buffing will help eliminate any residue and polish the surface. You can opt to use a leather sheen for a shiny look.
First we have sponges, You’ll want several types of sponges in your grooming kit for bathing and spot cleaning. Use a large sponge for the body and a smaller sponge for the face. You may also want a separate sponge for cleaning under your horse’s dock and between his hind legs. A large sponge is the most efficient way to lather up your horse at bath time. Use a sweat scraper & squeegee excess water from your horse’s coat after bathing or rinsing. A 20-quart bucket is the perfect size to mix up suds and also totes your bath essentials to the wash rack. use a sweat scraper to remove excess water from the coat. Then rub him down with clean, dry towels. Work a horse conditioner into his mane and tail to minimize hair breakage. Walk your horse until his coat is completely dry, otherwise he may be tempted to take a roll in the
There was once a time when people would get up on a Saturday morning, go into the garage, and tinker with their car, everything from a basic oil change and a tune up, to replacing the cylinder heads, and everything in between. It was a rite of passage for young boys to follow dad into the garage and have some good quality father/ son time, or it was a few friends getting together for an afternoon of friendship and camaraderie. It was a simpler time and a simpler car. Today, times have changed. Modern cars are now so complex that a person needs specialized training and tools to do the repairs; however, the “Shadetree Mechanic” is not extinct yet.
The car is in good shape just in need of a wash, wax, and a detail. Most of all though it needs a motor tune up and a new set of tires that don 't go flat in two days. That day they were working on the motor installing some new pumps and a new transmission that he had been given for christmas. My brother is helping him learning how to do things because he wants to be a mechanic someday. The boys are covered in gas and oil from head to toe but they are at least getting stuff done so we can drive the car to take my senior pictures in a few weeks. I remember dad telling me stories about driving that car he would tell me about how he had togo 10 miles per hour on his way home on the dirt road so he wouldn’t have to wash his car everyday. My favorite is when he was telling me about the old days when he would race his car against his buddies. The guys had the gas pump pulled off of the

If you use your vehicle as your daily driver, most likely you will be adding thousands of dollars on top of your maintenance and repair costs. This figure becomes your annual cost for maintaining your car.
Clean break dust off regularly so it does not stick onto your wheels - when cleaning tires and wheels, always use professional tire cleaning products. It may cost more but it will always save you from future damages when using household cleaning supplies.
Sure, you can wipe it clean with your hand or a towel, but this leaves smudging and is only a temporary fix. Instead, keep a can of shaving cream in your glove compartment. Prior to leaving your driveway, apply a generous smear of the cream to your viewing area, then wipe it off when its been applied evenly. You can also use shaving cream or toothpaste on your headlights to prevent them from fogging up.
Before meeting to look at the car you want to do some research about the car and see how much its worth. Selecting a car this is the most important step and you want to make sure you thoroughly look over the car. When meeting to look at the car and test drive it the first thing that you want to check out about the car is the condition inside and out. How well has the car been taken care of. If the car was not well taken care of then most likely the car's maintenance was not taken care of either. When buying a car you want the car to look as clean as a crystal because then you know the car was well maintained which could prevent future problems. The second thing that you want to do when looking at the car is to open the hood and check all of the fluids and make sure they are up to date and clean. Also check under the hood rust spots, under the car rust spots, and other rust spots to make sure there will not be any future problems. After looking over the car thoroughly the most important part is taking the car for a test drive. When buying a car always take it for a test drive to hear and feel any problems that were not there by just looking at it. Take the car for a drive and make sure that it drives smooth with no problems. When you are on your test drive park the car for about 30 sec on the side of the road and let it run, and then move it forward and make sure that there was no fluids leaking from the car. If everything seems to be okay with the car and it fits your wants and needs the final step is to make your offer to them. The number one mistake is to not jump into buying a car just because you want one. If they decline meet somewhere in the middle and make sure that the price you are paying for the car is worth the condition of the
The products needed for such a job would be a wax and grease removing solvent, rubbing alcohol, a wire or very hard bristly brush of some sort, tire shine gel, index cards, soapy water, primer, and of course the spray paint and these products can be found at your local auto parts store and may vary in quality. This task does take some research as to product type and which is best to use for your task at hand. As you gather your products and have kept in mind the rim material being refurbished you are now ready to start the second preparation step and this would consist of retrieving the cars Jack or my recommendation would be to use/obtain a hydraulic car jack for an easier removal of the car rims. You first want to raise the car with the car jack of your choice assuming you have are aware of what actions are needed to remove a car tire, if you don’t I suggest your start there and ask for some help with this task for safety concerns. Assuming you are familiar with such a task start with either the left or right side of the car and if possible attempt to remove two car rims at the time but if for some reason this cannot be done such as the size of the vehicle then one tire removal at a time would be
Millions of people own and drive cars, but many of those people go through their whole lives not knowing anything about how to fix or notice the minor details of their cars. Every now and then they shell out hundreds, or even thousands of dollars to take their cars to get fixed for small things. If they were to able to take a little of their time and much less money, they could easily take care of some things themselves. A few of these problems include the following: the charging system, oil changes, and fluid levels.
