Heiji is some what of a typical high school student. Give or take a few of his unique quirks, for instance, he's more intelligent than most boys his age. He has astounding memory. Where most find a corpse frightening and become squeamish, Heiji is first to jump to it and decipher the cause of death or if it's even dead. Mysteries fascinate him like kids to an interesting video game. If a case emanates you can bet Heiji will be there ready to crack with every cell in his brain. He could be described to be quite impulsive and even a bit absent-minded at times. His father described Heiji as so: "He's like a kid runnin' on pure instinct." Like Kudo, Heiji's intelligence is unmistakable. With or without Kudo's help, he can interpret clues, predict motives and reveal the culprit all in a days work. Complicated puzzles and strange clues aren't safe from his deductions. With this intelligence is clever thought process is his ability to create clues of his own. Aware of much knowledge and facts, he can determine how long a body has been dead, what killed them, and (after a bit of investigating) how. He seems to have a lack for higher authority. When his father (knowingly mind you) punched Heiji to the ground, he belittled him and told him to go home because this case wasn't his business. Instead Heiji rebelled and continued working on it despite his father's action. He also has a knack for calling his mom old woman, and he doesn't even properly address Mouri. Additionally, unlike Kudo, Heiji is more hot-blooded. He's quick to lose his temper, first to jump the gun, and quick to race anywhere a clue leads him. While he can keep his composure most of the time, it's still reveals itself enough to be notable. Hakuba actually berated... ... middle of paper ... ...even mistook an 'nervous almost confession' with nervous because they're 'feeling hungry.' When in reality their feelings run deeper than that and more intimate. Heiji is also oblivious to his own feelings for her. There were some moments where he wanted to confess to her, but chicken how half way and changed the subject to something ridiculous in comparison. One thing you'll notice about Heiji every time you see him, and I mean every time, is the fact that he wears a beige baseball cap with a dark blue bill. On it is the abbreviation "SAX", his favorite baseball team. Having said that, baseball is his favorite sport and he follows it actively. You will almost never see him without his cap. The cap is even used as an instrument. Like during cases, if he flips his hat forward, where the bill becomes in front and worn properly, it means he's close to solving a case.

Had it not been for Hirohito’s decision to surrender Japan to its allies during World War II in 1945, Japan would have been given the opportunity to thrive both economically and socially as it has to this very day. Hirohito put his people as his foremost priority, and this undivided care led him to make the best decisions for Japan. His military tactics and thought process brought Japan to its success and it is thus why Japan is now one of the most recognized and distinguished countries of the modern-day.
...can be identified that Thai people clearly make a distinguish line between mafia or bad people and good people. And because Thai society is a Buddhist community that praise good and prohibit bad people, anyone who repeat doing bad things will be excluded from the society as Buddhism teach people to do behave and contribute good things to society not cause it awful things. While Japanese people do not take religious seriously, it can be one of the reasons why yakuza is accepted and can openly reveal their existence even though they also do bad things. To sum up, the explicitly representation of yakuza as we can see on the video game simply reflect their being inside Japanese society; while, criminals or mafias are never allowed to portrayed as a good inhabitant to the public because Thai people do not fond of their existence in the society and want to get rid of them
The main elements of the Japanese bushido is that a samurai should be courageous in battle, loyal to his shogun or daimyo, kind, and merciful. The bushido stressed that a samurai should be education and support the arts. The bushido also explained an act of suicide through a ritual called the hira-kira. In this ritual, if a samurai fails to complete his duty, he was expected to use a knife to cut his abdomen, after which an assistant would cut off the warrior’s head.
The Tale of the Heike is a collection of tales that depict the livelihood of warriors during the Heian and Kamakura period. These tales illustrate that warriors during this period spent their existence dedicated to their duty to the Buddhist Law and that the growing contention arose from each warrior’s devotion and loyalty to the Buddhist Law.
The fundamental philosophy of the samurai is that of detachment from the self. In the opening of Hagakure, Tsunetomo states that “the Way of the Samurai is found in death”. Death is not to be feared by the Samurai, it is to be embraced. The relationship between the samurai and his master is of the utmost importance, and only through detachment can the samurai fully and properly serve his master. These are two core, fundamental philosophies of bushido, and are influenced heavily by two other prominent schools of thought of the time, Zen Buddhism and Confucianism.

The two clans had many little skirmishes but at the end the Minamoto clan won and took over as the best clan of Japan. The leader of the clan soon became the first shogun (military leader of japan) he ...
Hiroshi seems overly concerned with gaining respect from his classmates as he notes, “At least his classmates in Japan couldn’t see him now.” (44) He thinks this in a manor that puts a degrading tone on how his peers back home might view his current situation at this American school. In another instance that depicts Hiroshi’s aversion for feeling stupid, Hiroshi completely avoids eye contact with the other students in the lunch line when he makes an innocent mistake in the cafeteria line. Hiroshi is regularly concerned he will pronounce words wrong and embrace himself. He is anxious the other students are going to think poorly of him because of his lack of English literacy. Hiroshi notes it being obvious that Skye did not want other people to hear her speaking Japanese; he does not seem to take much offense, nor does he make any remark on the fact. Hiroshi, unlike Skye, does not feel insecure with his racial identity, but more so his intellectual
Ichiro frequently faced hostility from Japanese-American veterans for being a No-No boy, which heightened self-hatred of his identity. From the moment he arrived back to Seattle, he was met with negativity from Eto Minato, a Japanese-American veteran who went from friendly to hateful after realizing Ichiro was a No-no boy. Ichiro came face-to-face with Eto’s harsh criticism as he told him, “Rotten bastard. Shit on you… I’ll piss on you nex...
