Although I was born and lived in Lee County, Alabama, I would not identify myself as a Republican. Honestly I consider myself as a moderate voter. There are several platforms in both parties that I disagree with. I am only concerned about the laws that will impact myself which is one reason why I am able to identify with both parties on different platforms. On the issue of homosexual rights, as the law does not pertain to me, I appear to hold more liberal beliefs. However, when the issue of gun control and rights is brought up, I will often identify myself as a conservative.
I selected an article from the National Review Online titled, “Global Warming Hysterics’ War on the Destitute” which was published this month by Wesley Smith. I was unable to locate the argument or purpose of the article until the final two paragraphs. Initially, this article was confusing with the structure of the opening paragraph.
