Today I would like to talk to you about some of the conspiracies surrounding gay marriage. Some people have said that the gays are planning some huge plot to convert all the straight people. It all makes sense! They cry equality just to get straight people to be nice to them. Then once the straight people let their guard down, they turn e m! There's also another conspiracy I want to talk about. I beleive that if we allow them lesbians to marry, then they are going to trap all of us men into paying child support through reproductive entrapment. I recently heard a sort of fight conspiracy between gay men and straight men on Youtube, its mostly just gays trying to threaten straight guys with taking our girls.I can honestly say I am torn.
So back to the first conspiracy that I was talking about. I've heard all about how the gays are going to turn us straight people. The conspiracy is a plot devised by them homosexuals to desensitize, normalize, and then ultimately convert the straight society into a gay society. This pretty much means they are going to either gonna make you 'gay friendly' or are gonna be hostile to those who resist. In order to do this they have devised several strategies ranging from TV propaganda to mind-control through "teaching pro-gay concepts in the public schools." Once they have started, they wont stop! After they have gotten the children on their sides, they will start to legalize anti-gay laws, approve homosexual adoptions, even securing rights for those who identify themselves as "gay."
The other conspiracy I wanted to talk about was made by a great Christian man named David Usher. He figured out that there will be three classes of marriage if we allow gay marriage. First off is class1 which is mother mothe...

...d want to happen is if all the gay guys just took our wives. Just take these into consideration when deciding whether or not to allow more gays to marry.

The two texts examined within, present the opposing extremes of views regarding gay and lesbian marriage. The first text entitled Let Gays Marry by Andrew Sullivan examines the intricacies of same sex relationships and why homosexual couples should be allowed to publicly show affection for one another. The second text that will be examined is titled Leave Marriage Alone written by William Bennett. Bennett gives his views on why couples of same sex nature should not be allowed to engage in marital relations. These two authors, although very different, each has a view of the ideals of marriage, and how it should be presented to the public.
This article explains the concerns which people in homosexual relationships have over the change in laws which would make them equal to heterosexual couples. The main concern is that they may be publicly outed as being part of a homosexual couple when they want to keep it secret, otherwise they wouldn't be able to receive the benefits.
Same-sex marriage has been one of the most controversial topics in the United States, and gay couples have been facing harsh judges by others. Gay marriage is very important because it challenges our values on freedom, and this will affect the next generation’s understanding of marriage. In “The Conservative Case for Gay Marriage,” the author uses historical facts trying to convince his audience that same-sex marriage should be protected under laws and granted respect by people. On the other hand, the author of “Prop 8 Hurts My Family-ask Me How” uses incidences of how homosexual couples are being harassed and discriminated by others to show how they were unequally treated after prop 8 was passed. They both use the rhetorical strategies effectively
The persecution of homosexuals during this age of McCarthy proved exactly how vulnerable they were to attack and discrimination. Out of those persecutions came some of the first organized “gay rights” groups, known as Homophile organizations, the first two being the Mattachine Society and the Daughters of Bilibis (who focused their efforts on Lesbian rights). Founded in 1950 by Harry Hay, the...
“Equal rights for lesbians and gay men may be the greatest civil rights battle of the 21st century” (Avery 2007, p. 71). Homosexual couples have been fighting a losing battle for years, and their struggle has recently taken the spotlight once again as a burning topic. Over the years, many people have come to support equal love. However, many Americans still advocate the one man-one woman institution of marriage. The fight for equal rights in general has always been a complex issue. African Americans, women, and many other minorities have had to fight for the rights that they hold today. There are many factors involved in gay activism such as support, attitudes, roles, and the implications of the movement. Social psychology takes a particular interest in gay rights and these factors in particular, as it is a current, controversial topic within American society.
...prerequisite for marriage. Additionally, such a law would be the true enactment of the principle of equality, about which the human society has been so vocal and rightly so. Moreover, religion is not an authority on what a person should do and who they should like and commit to and evoking the religion argument has usually cost the society more than it has profited it. Lastly, there is a socio-economic aspect of this notion from which the entire society and not just a subsection of it will benefit. Today countries are experimenting with laws on marijuana usage, freedom of speech and where do draw the line. It is high time, then, that a section of the society that has always been kept on the margins be given its due rights and that future generations do not rise from the ashes of hypocritical equality but stand on solid foundations of egalitarianism and impartiality.
The world today is surrounded with many controversial issues. One such issue would be the topic of gay marriage. This country has grown around one major tradition, being the definition of marriage. It’s more-less looked at as a religious or legal commitment between a women and man, to express their love and compassion towards one another, being the last and final step there is to take with that significant other. Homosexual relationships are rapidly gaining acceptance in this country. However, the Defensive of Marriage Act, that former president Clinton signed in 1996, is holding many back from being able to marry what could be the significant other of their dreams. Homosexuality effects from 8% to 15% of all males, as well as females being slightly less than the male population. To put this in a more familiar context, there are as many gays and lesbians in America today as there are unemployed citizens. There are a few states which formed a type of commitment called a "civil union", which basically is marriage without using the word "marriage." Gay couples are denied significant rights when they are not allowed to marry, and these result in injustices within society. Most carry the burden of hiding their sexual identity for fear of being disrespected or mistreated by the general population who remain ignorant to the causes and circumstances of homosexuality. This puzzles many due to the excess amount of investigative work that has been done on the phenomenon, as well as puzzling the church as to who would want to look into the concept in such a sinful matter.
The United States is a country built on a number of ideals and institutions. The moral structure of many Americans today was developed by our ancestors and the founders of this nation through the institutions that were a part of their lives. Family, religion, marriage, equality, and justice are just a few examples of the important components that provide a moral basis for our country. If any of these elements were to become too mutated, the effects on society could be devastating. Right now in the United States, one of these building blocks of society is being threatened by the possibility of a negative transformation. The building block of marriage as the sacred joining of one man and one woman is under attack and is at risk of being destroyed. People in favor of gay marriage want to change marriage to the joining of two people of either sex, which goes against what the purpose of marriage has been and why it is important to society and religion. People who are in opposition to same-sex marriage are eagerly expressing their opinions with religious and cultural reasons that show how this change could impact our society forever.
Same-sex marriage is one of the leading political topics in the United States today. There is an ongoing dispute pertaining to the legalization of same-sex marriages. America has shifted its head to focusing on supporting same-sex marriage or not. Many are for and against this topic but there has been no settlement for it yet. Homosexuals want to marry for the same reason that heterosexuals have and there should be no reason why they are not allowed to. There is some history behind this topic but there has yet to be a solution.
At long last we have covered ten of the most common arguments against LGBT rights, particularly same-sex marriage. Needless to say there are plenty of other arguments out there against the LGBT community, yet all lack logical and reasonable basis for denying us equal rights. Opposing the inevitable is a waste of precious time, money and energy. It is time those who oppose LGBT rights to start turning their focus back onto their own lives and accept the facts. Legalizing same-sex marriage is not going to force them to marry someone of the same-sex. The only think they will be “forced” to do, is to acknowledge the right of all humans to be treated equally. After all, when it comes to the States, is it not under the law, “Liberty and Justice for All” should not come with a disclaim?
Gay people want to formalize their relationship and gain some of the legal standing and support that is given to heterosexual couples on a daily basis. Sadly, in most of this country, gay people are denied this right and not allowed to participate in what is a natural right for most other Americans. Efforts by NYS legislatures or Executive Orders by Governors to grant gay and lesbian people rights (i.e. non discrimination in hiring, housing or public accommodations) have been challenged by the right using public referendums. Putting the rights of gays and lesbians, or any minority, up to a vote by the majority places any minority at a disadvantage, and gay rights have usually come up short.
The marriage between two people of the same sex is against Gods beliefs, a threat to the structure of families and a sin to mankind. With dedication and perseverance people who oppose gay marriages can succeed in ending the debate of making it legal.
Two guys or girls fall in love with each other, then realize that they can’t marry each other. The couple will have to spend more money to go to a different country just to get married. If all states in the US legalized gay marriage then the couple would be spending not as much money and their marriage would be legal. Gay marriage is a worthwhile venture in the US because gay have less marital division, their union should be protected by the constitution, and they are excellent parents.
Gay rights have been a hot topic for the past few decades, but it has recently become one of the biggest issues in the United States and the world. Gay rights are human rights, and every country in the world that does not guarantee the same rights to gay citizens as they do to heterosexual citizens are committing crimes against humanity. The past few years states have slowly legalized gay marriage, essentally creating a ripple effect; ending 2014 with thirty seven states that had marriage equality ("50 States" 1). 2014 was an astounding year for equality, ...
Many facts about homosexuality have been brought into the late, and many myths dragged into the dark, but believe the debate between whether our county should give homosexual couples the right to marry will be persistent through many of the years to come. Just as racism, war and bigotry proceeds to grasp americas thoughts. We need to step out of the age of bigotry and narrow mindedness and let our homosexual brothers and sisters pursue happiness just like the rest of our people. Equality is key to the future of our nation and our world, so it is up to you now to decide our cultural future. But most of all the choice is yours to decide what kind of person you are going to be.
