Recommended: character analysis essay romeo and juliet

Love is something that can happen no matter the circumstances of the situation. Love is a very strong force that can bring two strangers together and create sheer happiness and joy; however, under certain circumstances, love can be very dangerous.

Whether you are a poor boy chasing after a princess, or whether your families are hated enemies of one another, it is possible for love to take root and blossom. It also could be the simple attraction to what we cannot have. Regardless of the reason, love of these kinds has spawned off wonderful and inspirational stories. It is the dream that love, although forbidden, or seemly impossible, with great sacrifice is achievable.

Is authentic romantic love respectful? Patient? Kind? Devoted? Is there sacrifice? It makes the most sense to begin with a clarification of terminology – what do we mean by “romantic love”? Romantic meaning pleasurable feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love. Romeo and Juliet's first encounter.

If I profane with my unworthiest hand

In a strange way, romantic love is the least understood part of the human mind. Mainly because we are so content in believing that it is an entirely different experience for everyone so that it is impossible to clearly express. Yes, psychology books talk a lot about the factors that impact relationship formation but they typically do not have a lot to say about romantic love as something separate from platonic friendships, meaning a strong type of love that is non-sexual, like the love of a friend. ...d? Maybe because death did not. Romeo and Juliet's death put an end to the feud between the two families. And depending on what you believe, death may not be the end of love, it may be just the beginning. After all, the lovers brought peace to their houses and died in each other's arms. Love has conquered distance, hatred, fear and possibly death.

It comes down to one question—Does the ideal romantic love really exist or not. According to Andrew Sullivan in the Love Bloat: Why Obsess Over Romance?, there is not such thing called romantic love as we idealized, and his opinion about romantic love is right; there is not such thing called romantic love.
