When summer time comes around people get excited about swimming , taking family vacations , but for me it is fishing with my grandma. Nothing is better to me and my grandma than throwing a poll out in the water and kicking back in a chair and waiting. Growing up my grandma would take me to do a lot of things as a child but fishing was my all time favorite thing to do. Sometimes on the weekends we would take little road trips for the day and in the back of the truck was always my fishing pole. My grandma would pull over on the side of the road when we would pass a river or a creek and we would always get out and look over the rail to see if we seen any fish , if i seen a fish i would run to the truck grab my pole and throw it in the water. As a child fishing just came natural to me it wasn't something she had to show me how to do for hours it was something i just naturally picked up.
One summer me and my grandma and uncle went out of town to visit some family in southeast kansas and i knew we would go to are favorite fishing spot while we were there. I was so excited after we went and visited family we went back to the hotel room i knew i should get some rest cause we were going to get up early. The next morning we got around it was about 7am the orange sun was glowing we headed out to the stock pond we fished at when we are out here. After we got out there and got all are stuff set up i had my grandma put some bait on my hook cause i thought it was gross , after she baited my hook i casted my pole out as far as i could and then sat back and waited. As the day went on and the sun got higher and hotter i heard my grandmas bell start ringing on here fishing pole i looked over and seen here jerk it , she started reeling it in it to...

...ing i also enjoy it because it is so peacful and quite. Fishing isn't for everbody it takes alot of patience to fish and that was something my grandma always remined me. My grandma was a very wise woman and was excellent at fishing. Now that i am older i still love fishing and i will always love fishing. I will pass down everything my grandma taught me about fishing down to my children and i hope they will love fishing like i did as a child and create many more memories down the line. My grandma taught me many things in life but she always made me see the finer things in life you don't always need money to have fun it's the little things that can make someone the happiest cause i know she always made me happy i will carry on the thing's she taught me and the love of nature and all the life lessons ive learned from her the rest of my life.

After we got tired of the pool me and my family started to head to the beach. So as we walked we noticed an amazing shell so we went and picked it up and there was a snail inside of it. It jumped out of its shell at my dad and scared us to death. After that we set it back free in the ocean, the we went and played around in the amazing water. My mom and my grand ma went to go and get lunch from the beach side café. They had the best food on the beach, we all ate our lunch and were stuffed
My uncle and I started getting everything setup so we could start fishing. I grabbed my fishing rod, placed the bait on the hook, unfolded my chair, and waited for a fish. Tim saw me sitting by myself so he walked over to the dock to talk to me about some stuff; he started telling me about his most prized/special catfish, the albino catfish. The albino catfish lived

So we packed up some cloths and water and started on are bike ride. We were riding on a very muddy and rough trail we found a little creek that two or three people were fishing in so we checked it out and the continued are bike ride. A little further up the trail it was really muddy and my dad wrecked and face planted into the mud and again of course I have to get some pictures of that. My dad got all cleaned up and a little further up the trail there was another creek to fish out of so we tried fishing there for a little bit but we didn't catch anything. So we headed back down the trail and went to the other creek to fish and we caught four good size fish. We packed the fish up and headed back to are camp to clean them and cook
I woke up my dad and told him that it was already light outside. He jumped out of bed and said we had to go. I went outside and started up the truck while my dad was getting dressed. When I opened the door to the trailer I noticed clear blue skies and a light frost that covered the ground. I jumped in the driver's seat of the 1990 white GMC Sierra, pushed in the clutch, and turned the key. The truck hesitated for about ten seconds and then started. I turned on the defroster and the windshield wipers so we wouldn?t have to scrape the frost.
There is something about catching fish that just gives me such an adrenaline rush and it becomes an addictive experience that I just want to try again and again. Reeling in the line and watching the fish come closer and closer makes me so excited. The good thing about fishing is that most of what you catch you can eat.
It was a bright sunny day and the lake looked like glass, perfect to go water skiing. My dad, brother, and I decided to go get the boat ready for our trip. We had to get the sunscreen, refreshments, and water skis. Once we all got in the boat, we had to untie the ropes that were tied to the boat and the dock and lead the boat out of the dock without it colliding into the dock..
The next day I woke up without a worry on my mind. I fought with my siblings about who got to eat the last powdered sugar donut. Being the youngest, I obviously lost. As soon as we were done with breakfast, my cousins and I ran over to the lake to go for a quick swim. When we got back I heard that we were going to go for a ride through the country side.

I woke up one morning ready to go bear hunting with my papaw. me and him had to load the dogs up so I went and got them. We took off as we sped down twenty-mile road and out of nowhere they were roaringly load. We cut the dogs off the box they were out of there like a bolt of lightning. It took my dogs Sundance and Lilly nine hours to tree the massive black bear. We had to drive from about one end of twenty mile to the other which was about four hours of driving to get to the tree. When we got there, I got out my gun and started to go to the tree when we got there I loaded the gun and got ready to shoot there it was setting in the closest fork up the tree,
I got home from school one Friday afternoon and my dad and my brother had gone up to the hill which was above my house. To weed-det and they have found a huge paw paw tree. It was encumbered with paw paw's. So, my brother climbed up the long large tree trunk and had shaken the paw paw tree until the beautiful sized paw paw's fell off the huge tree. About 32 huge paw paws' fell off the large tree and so my dad waited for my brother to climb down the tree. Then collected them swiftly.
By the end of that day, we had caught two small mouth basses, three crawdads, and my magnificent large mouth bass. I will always remember fishing in my backyard with my dad, we still do it today. It is a time to relax and have fun. Those special moments will always have a place in my heart. As we headed back, I thought, this is something I will never get tired
It was the last Saturday in December of 1997. My brother, sister, and I were chasing after each other throughout the house. As we were running, our parents told us to come and sit down in the living room. They had to tell us something. So, we all went down stairs wondering what was going on. Once we all got down stairs, the three of us got onto the couch. Then, my mom said, “ Well…”
One day my family was at the lake for a weekend and we all decided to go on the boat. So we packed up all of our stuff and went out on the water we drove to a cove where the water was shallow. So i jumped in and I touched to the bottom it felt like mush and at the time my dad did not look to see how shallow it was on the boat because our boat has a sensor on the bottom of it where it shows you how deep the water is and he did not look at it and our boat sits really low to the water because it is a yacht and it sits about 4 ft down in the water and we did not know that it was only around 10 ft deep so we drove out of that cove. And went to another one and it was so deep it was like 50 ft and my dad's friend lived there so he dove down in the water because he had dropped his phone in the water and he said that it was really rocky and his phone was still on when he went to the bottom. So we sat with him at his
