In the modern day world the main purpose of food seems to be nothing but to satisfy cravings and hunger. Although once one's taste preferences are met, it can result in a pleasurable eating experience. But hunger and thirst are the body's way of sending a message that it needs more energy to burn in order to preform at its best. The energy source that the body receives is significantly important in how the body reacts. Similar to how automotive vehicles don't all use the same gasoline, humans also have to choose the right fuel source. Water for example, is a liquid that makes up approximately 50% of the human body. Water contains electrolytes and once consumed will result in the maintenance of the active electrons on their cell membrane transversely. Besides restoring the body's nutrients, food highly impacts mood. The content of food one consumes will ultimately affect a persons psychological health. The basics components that make up the average persons diet contains a verity of protein, carbohydrates, fats, as well as vitamins and minerals resulting a great impact on one's mood. The main compound in cells that make up the human body are made up of amino acids that are found in dietary protein. Foods such as meats, dairy, and grains are valuable supplies of amino acids. Amino acids provide antibodies or other immune cells to assist the body with fighting any type of infection, inflammation or bacteria. In addition, protein helps the production of enzymes and hormones as well. While protein helps build the body's health strength from within, many diets focus on protein intake while subtracting carbohydrates, this method is highly ineffective.
