This can be explained by the mean scores of hours spent searching academic information online and students’ studying time. Students who scored low on IAT spent more hours for searching academic information as well as studying.

We included many questions to answer in a very limited time. This study couldn’t find relationship between IAT scores and GPA in lower IA group. This may be because TUJ students need a certain amount of time to use the Internet for education as well as for entertainment which did not reach to the severe level of Internet addiction. Other variables such as age, personality, average sleeping hours, sleeping hours before the night of exam day, average hours online, and the usage and reason of being online may interact with each other and have an effect on GPA and IA scores.
