Northcentral's Mission Statement, Vision, and Values statement conveys that the institution and all of its personnel are committed to facilitating the learner's success in business, as well as, out in the world. Northcentral is an opportunity to gain enlightenment and wisdom. The professors are trained in their personal careers and deliver their knowledge to the learners. It is also a learning experience for the professors as they learn from their students.
The University as a whole facilitates learning by giving all the tools necessary to be successful, however, the students must do their part, too. It is crucial to success, to attain a high grade point average and maintain it. Granted, it is not easy with the everyday trials and tribulations one faces in their life. It does require perseverance, dedication, determination and above all, focus. One must be self-motivated because it is the responsibility of the learner to remember everything that must be done. It is important to devise a schedule and follow it. It is equally important to block out time to do assignments when there are no distractions. A person's degree is what they will depend on for the rest of their life, so it is crucial to do it right. When doing research, make sure to use scholarly websites and peer reviewed materials; they are assured to be accurate and up-to-date. Another importance is one's confidence. With confidence, it is possible to embark on a powerful journey that shows ethics and integrity on the part of the learner. There is no place for cheating in college and it is not tolerated. People are automatically suspicious when you first talk to them because there is so much dishonesty out there. I strive to be different. I am professional and dependable. I do not tell people what they want to hear or makes promises I cannot or do not intend to keep.
