Health is such a huge factor that comes to play in todays society. Many people are looking for ways to stay healthy and to prolong their lives. Vegetarianism is the way you can achieve your goals of being healthy. A vegetarian is someone who does not consume meat in their diet and may cut out eggs and dairy products as well. Why eat meat that contains chemicals, growth hormones, and perservitives when you can just cut all that out? Being a vegetarian is a way of life and a superior choice when you are trying to be healthy.
Health is the number one concern of people today. So many people play into health gimmicks on a daily basis and many of them are scams and do not work. If our number one concern is health then why would we not cut out a major health issue such as meat? Meat is most certainly a health issue due to there being so much bad meat out there. Recently within the past couple of months 8.7 million pounds of meat got recalled due to e coli. The way the animals are being processed and slaughtered is inhummane and incredibly un-sanitary. People are dieing because of the way the meat is being cleaned and processed so why not cut it out?
The health benefits of being a vegetarian are incredible. Many people are uneducated on the matter thinking that if they are vegetarian they are only doing it to help save the animals or because they are morally opposed to eating them which is a possibility. I do not eat meat due to the health risks and the fact that being a vegetarian makes you so much healthier. Why would you not want to be healthier and live a longer life? ...ts and such because who does not what to live a longer and healthier life? But we certainly know that the majority of the world will always eat meat no matter the risks or benefits. That is part of life, everyone is titled to an oppinion and their own choices and I have most certainly made mine for the better.
