Eustace Conway was a true american transcendentalist because he was self brought up, self inspired, self taught and just all around one with nature. he was and is a big inspiration for many people and is a very spiritual man such as one with nature, and is away from society. Eustace Conway was said to be an amazing man as said by many people who have met and gotten the pleasure of his acquaintance. In this research paper i will go through what people have said and what makes eustace conway a true american transcendentalist.

Eustace Conway an Amazing man in the eyes of many people, he is one of a kind, so different from others, so far away from everyone else. “the legendary mountain man eustace conway.” this is a direct quote that was said in one of eustace’s interview, this proving he is highly looked up to and revered in the society. he was not like others, maybe because of his life. he was brought up in the wilderness, he was raised by well educated parents. he was let loose though, he could roam and explore and learned alot of skills that helped him when he leaves his home to live in the wild. he really never got involved with common society unless it was a fight for his land which happened because the payments were off or health code violations. he has done everything a true transcendentalist needs, he just escaped from the word and went to fend for himself and did not need to be with others, he took them on to his teachings so that more could follow in his footsteps and the “old Time culture if you will. this is what turtle island was made for, it was a preserve made so that people who wished to get away and learn how the basics felt could go and do such a thing. there is no running water, no electricity, and yo...

body 4: society this odd place it is so full of problems crime, and is more harmful than it is good, eustace believes all of this. when he went to the city he found that is was so odd and loud and he found it so much harder to fit in. people were different here they were distrusting, dishonest, and so quick to judge and make fun of. when eustace went to new york city, he found and was made fun of by some drug dealers. they were judging him on his cloths, (the duck skin). they thought he stole i, this man they do not even know they thought that he stole. he could not believe that this was true, “what is with the world, were a man can not dress different and not get harassed”. eustace also went to say that it was bad referencing to society. the world has too much crime in it and vile people in the world. this is another trait he has a strong did like for soc
