The Ohana project is a program focused on the continued support of children and families of individuals in their fight to break free from the bondage of drug and alcohol addiction. The Ohana project strives to provide individuals and family with a clear understanding into the nightmare of alcohol addiction, and methamphetamine substance abuse. Primary and secondary treatment programs are evaluated against control groups not receiving the treatments. The Ohana project combines these evidence-based, relevant findings about addiction with treatment and recovery. Several of the staff members have experienced personal loss as a result of methamphetamine and alcohol addiction and share this private information with care, compassion and professionalism. The goal Ohana project is to prevent families the grief of losing a loved one to substance addiction. To return kids to their parents, and parents to their kids. To help rebuild friendships, restore people’s dignity and reunite families.
