Graffiti
Have you sat down and look at graffiti? Have you wonder why people do it? What does it means for the person who does it? Does graffiti has a meaning beyond what it was intended to mean? Does graffiti means what it says? These are all many of the questions that people ask themselves when they see this type of art. Graffiti origin goes back to the beginning of human existence. It has been found on ancient, Egyptian monuments and preserve on walls in Pompeii. Graffiti in plural Italian means grafficar which means drawing, markings, patterns, scribbles or messages that are painted.
Modern graffiti art originated in New York City, it was known as “New York Style” graffiti. It began in the late 1960’s when teens will use permanent market to write their names on tags. In the middle to late 1970’s, writers started painting subway trains. Train painting was instrumental to the development of graffiti art because trains became the stage where everyone that wanted to be recognized to do their best art in to win the title “King or Queen”. Trains were used by graffiti artist to paint on them as often as possible, they would do their names in a colorful and unique style, because it was guarantee that it would be seen by many people and by others writers because those trains would travel to thousand different places. The goal was and is to create burners which are pieces that out because of their creativity.
When graffiti was introduced to the art world, two trends develop. First, the world of art of artist started by sharing their artistic knowledge with new emerge artist. Second, the exposure of this graffiti helped its expansion to all parts of the world.

Intention of Graffiti
Graffitists intend their work to be apprehended as art that can communicate feelings and ideas to the audience. For them graffiti is being able to express their self via their painting.
