Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, a novel known for it’s tragic ending, is based upon the idea of young love. Throughout the book, Romeo and Juliet go are faced with difficulties, struggling to be together. In the story, Shakespeare portrays young love is shown to be stronger than imagined, but always a failure in the end. Set up from the start, Romeo and Juliet’s love for each other was doomed. Shakespeare believes that young love is hopeless and inevitable, as is clearly shown in his writing.
